. When the Cavs inevitably get throttled by the Warrior's and Lebron blames The Cavs for this awkward roster, dreaded cap situation, and shipping Wiggins out for this bum named Love.

Is there any real options for him to take his talents to next year, Lord knows he's ready to bolt for percieved greener pastures at the drop of a ball.

ESPN had the gall to rank him ahead of Bird and Magic...and Russell.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

What about to the Warriors? Can he opt out and go to Warriors? Man the league would be screwed if that happened.

That's probably his first choice, but Curry will stop that from happening. So he takes a discount to play with Popovich.

 Duncan
 Aldridge
 Lebron
 Kawai
 Parker

He can continue his soap opera anywhere as long as it's not in Boston.
The last thing he said during an interview :
"What do you guys want me to do? Turn my brain off because I have a huge basketball IQ?”

Jaylen Rose said it perfectly. You can't put him ahead of Larry Bird until he wins one in Cleveland. Thank you Jalen.

Yesterday I saw someone post incredible funny tweet about him... it was something like Lebron ordered that Cavs should get him Curry, Durant, Melo, Wade (and mentioned few other superstars) by the deadline. lol

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
He won't go anywhere.
He'll be in Cleveland till he retires.
Just one championship in Cleveland in the next 5-6 years is all he needs.

It's worth more than anything to him and after all he's said and done, he's never leaving the Cavs.

If you honestly think he's leaving Cleveland then you're more of a hater than a basketball fan.

Dude is one of the best things to happen to the game, ever.

The hate for Lebron is just disgusting. He grew up and realized there are things more important in life than basketball and now he's trying his best to bring a championship to his home town and he won't stop until he does it.
And he probably will do it.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

TP.

I have always "hated" Lebron James, and I continue to do so.  That said, I've softened as I've gotten older.  I recognize his greatness as a basketball player, and my hatred has certainly never extended beyond rooting against him on the basketball court.

I'm almost at the point where I wouldn't mind seeing him help the Cavs win a title.  I do think that if the Cavs win a title with Lebron that my "hatred" will become re-activated, though.  If they win back-to-back titles, Lebron James will quickly become more irritating again.

At least he never got three . . . four . . . five . . . six . . . seven . . . titles with Miami.

And, c'mon, starting the thread by referring to him as "queen" as an insult?

So last millennium.

Lebron is certainly one of the most unique and athletically gifted players the league has ever seen. If he had half of Bird's shooting ability he would rule the league, well he kind of already does. That being said, until he wins a title in Cleveland he won't really approach Bird/Magic status. He still needs to learn to be able to take over games on the offensive end in crunch time. It's unlikely this happens though because his shooting is still suspect.

It's too bad because as a two way player he is hard to top. I would love to have seen him on the 80's Celtics teams. Can you imagine the Lakers trying to stop him?

I don't know. I can imagine LeBron getting fed up and quitting Cleveland for a 2nd time. I don't think he'll do it soon but perhaps a few season further down the road.

I don't think LeBron finishes his career in Cleveland unless they win a Championship and continue to have a Contender there throughout the rest of his career. I think he is more likely to finish his career on a different team to Cleveland.

LeBron has no loyalty to teams. Only to himself.

Yeah, we've got rules about disparaging nicknames, particularly where they're also sexist.
