none of this makes send for Miami - they just lost, Anderson, they MAY loose Bosh for the year, Whiteside is not under contract in the summer, Amare has bad knees.....am i missing anyone?

Thinking the same thing...TP

Anderson, another big going out and Roberts a small guy coming in.

That snake Riley is far from done. Hoping they don't get Horford or Howard or both.

Maybe he'd like Sully plus whatever for Winslow.

Thanks!  it does seem like a 3 way to get Horford or Howard to Mia. Riley may want a re-do of 2006 with older Shaq and younger Wade with a 2016 version of Older Howard or Horford and Older Wade.
interesting thought but what does Miami have left to trade out for either of those players?  I can't see them sending out Winslow and I don't think anyone else on the roster would appeal to either Hou or Atl.

They would have to include Winslow and Whiteside in a deal to get either of those players, I think. Tyler Johnson could have some value long term as well.

Lots of activity today considering it's two days before the deadline.  Does this mean it'll be a crazy one?  Or does it mean teams already had these deals worked out before the All-Star break and this is probably all we're going to see?

There's was talk yesterday of a 3-way with Atlanta somehow involved and. Whiteside and Dragic to Houston. Teague and Horford to cHeat and Dwight to Atlanta....parts filled in as needed.

Long shot, but never trust that tampering snake Riley.

Kinda think it WON'T be a crazy deadline.

Agreed. This morning I texted my friend after he asked me to predict if there'd be any big deals. I said no, an hour later these deals emerge. But I think that's it. Only small deals from here out
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

HOU discussing Dwight trade with CHA?
The Rockets and Hornets have reportedly been discussing a potential Dwight Howard trade, but they have not been able to fine a workable deal.

Sources: Miami will send two future second-round picks to Memphis as part of 3-team deal, although one is heavily protected.

Memphis going for broke
With gasol out, contention is out of the question
Memphis just wants whatever it can get for lee
Who has been productive and will demand a raise next season

Miami looks to getting rid of Anderson
While Charlotte gets a SG it needs after MKG injury

Yeah, I have a feeling these deals signal a quiet deadline.  Teams had these worked out already prior to the All-Star break, finalizing them today.

Usually you don't see much activity in the days leading up to the deadline, teams want to keep their options open.

Like I said:

Quote from: Marc Stein
Trading Chris Andersen and absorbing Brian Roberts in a three-team deal has taken Heat from $14.3 million in owed luxury tax to $8.8 million

Nice haul for Memphis.  Two years ago they got a second for taking on Courtney Lee, and now they've traded him for 3-4 more seconds, and a fringy prospect in Hairston.

Houston and Miami would make out well with Atlanta taking a loss.  must be picks going to Atlanta I would think
