This could be interesting.  Wonder if they can get him and Love.

Sherrod is the worst. Unless we trade them BKN 16 pick or Crowder for Winslow. There's no possibility for a trade there.

I mean, he had me at Winslow, and then lost me at "including David Lee is a no-brainer". Which it is, in that such an idea can only come from someone with zero brains.  Lee makes $15.5 million.  The Heat have given away draft picks to save luxury tax dollars.  They are not trading for David Lee.  (They may sign him when he's bought out, but that's a different story.)

Blakely speculation article which means nothing to see here. There are no bigs on this roster who Miami would want for Winslow.

I can't stand blakely , and he is probably just making this up

But

It does make sense that they are still interested in Winslow .

If you were willing to draft him at #9 in a stronger draft last year , would you consider him a top 5 pick if he was in this years draft?

We know Danny offered 4 1sts to get him .

What if he can offer just 1 first and pick him up with the brk pick .

It does make sense......

Can't see this happening. Miami would have to give up a lot of players in order to acquire Lee and his big salary. One possibility is to swap both Winslow and Deng for Lee, which isn't realistic in my eyes given that the trade would deplete their rotation at the SF spot.

Furthermore, Winslow hasn't impressed me this season, which is why I wouldn't bother giving up the BKN pick for him.
Jack of all trades, master of none.

Take advantage of desperate situations.  Ainge is the best

He's a nice guy, but what are Blakely's qualifications? He doesn't have sources, and doesn't seem to understand how the cap / trades work.

The sad thing is that there will be fans out there wondering why the Lee-for-Winslow trade never happened.

So the Nets are falling apart now and want to get rid of their cheapest, most promising young player?  That's just not happening. Not to mention that our Nets pick should be able to get us one of Ingram, Bender or Brown.

From what I heard they were willing to take him at 4.

Ha TP, I have just seen the pick dropped so much it's coming in my day to day speech.  I'm at the dinner table going "can you pass me the Nets pick?"

Taking Winslow over Porzingis and Mudiay would had been pretty dumb.
