One less team to worry about in the playoff race I guess.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Orlando is making a big mistake. They have to be able to get more for Harris, and if they can't by the deadline then I think he would have a lot more trade value in the offseason.

Jennings and Ilyasova don't move the needle enough to get into the post season imo.

Terrible deal. They're giving away a cost-controlled, young prospect for two guys who are expiring and will likely bolt at the end of the season. It's not even like they're getting a pick out of it, either.

Solid deal for DET if it actually happens.
Yeah, Magic must hate Harris to be ditching his not crazy deal already.
Harris is not great. He is what Jae Crowder would be if Jae Crowder didn't play ANY defense.

I feel like Jennings is a really bad fit on that Magic team... Confused by this one

Assuming the Magic see some value in Jennings and are not simply dumping Harris, it feels like moving Oladipo is the next logical step.

Orlando should trade Vucevic too.

Soon to be released.

Jennings gets released.

Nets pick him up.

A Jennings/Oladipo bench backcourt simply isn't tenable. Both are ball-dominant, neither are great defenders (despite Oladipo's reputation).

Egad. I hope that's not the case. I'd rather have Donald Sloan and Shane Larkin run the nets offense than Jennings.

The Magic didn't even get to dump Frye in the deal. What an awful return.

Young players that get released will want to play there. Tons of minutes to establish themselves again.

To be fair, we don't know that.  A lot of times these "solid rumors" only contain the primary pieces of the deal that winds up getting done, and there winds up being a bit more to it.  But as it stands now, yeah, it looks pretty bad.

Huh?

Skiles coached Jennings, I doubt they release him.

Straight salary dump of the like we haven't seen in a while. Especially on a young player's deal.
