Everyone's waiting for all these Centers to be traded, so I'm predicting it's similar to last year with the Point Guards. Either none of the Centers move or all of them.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

I sure hope we land Horford now....Draft @ No.1 or 2.....and sign Derozan in the summer.

No chance we get Durant to come here.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

That's probably about right.

It wouldn't surprise me if one of Griffin and Love is actually dealt, but if we get Horford I expect Love to stay put, meaning we're the only real suitor for Love right now.

Why would Orlando want another guard, though? Harris would be a good wing upgrade for Atlanta, though he wouldn't fill the defensive presence of Carroll on the wings. But I can't really see Orlando wanting yet another guard to cram up their backcourt even more (Teague, Payton, Oladipo, Fournier, Hezonja, Napier, Watson). Realistically, they'd have to get rid of two or more of those guys if they're considering Teague the upgrade and consolidation of guards that they've been wanting.

I'm really afraid that Atlanta, Houston, and Miami are going to get a three-way trade going, though, because they seemingly have a perfect trade set up with their big men: http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=jtnvbv5

For Atlanta, it seems that Howard wants to stay with the Hawks, so they wouldn't have to worry about Horford leaving them in free agency. They'd also probably get much better defensively, but worse offensively, with this trade.

For Miami, it seems that Horford would want to stay in Miami to grow his Hispanic brand, and he'd be a major upgrade for Miami over Whiteside. Also, they pick up Teague to be an upgrade on their failed Dragic pickup. That Miami team could be potentially dangerous in the playoffs.

For Houston, they essentially replace Howard with a younger version of Howard, and they get a point guard that is better suited to play off of Harden, though still not completely ideal.

The only issue would be if the Rockets think that they can retain Whiteside, since no Bird Rights will go with him. If they think they can replace him, this is almost too perfect of a trade for all three teams and the players involved to not consider it, which would suck for the C's.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

-Toronto will make a trade for an upgrade at power forward. The most likely candidates are Thad Young and Markieff Morris. I predict it will be Morris.
-Dwight Howard will be traded not because he wants out but because Houston doesn't want to give up a draft pick to Denver just to get trounced by Golden State or San Antonio in the playoffs. I predict he's going to Atlanta.
-Al Horford will be traded to the Celtics in a 3-way deal that gives Houston Sullinger, Lee, Dallas 1st and Minnesota 1st (which is increasingly looking like it will be 2 2nd-rounders) and of course, Howard to Atlanta. I atleast believe Horford will be traded somewhere after hearing that the discussions about him in a potential trade are very real.
-Even while acquiring Horford, Danny will discuss getting Kevin Love from the Cavs. A deal won't be agreed to but it will be re-visited in the draft after the Celtics find out where the Brooklyn pick lands.
-Jeff Teague will be traded to the Jazz for Alec Burks/Trey Burke even after the Knicks beg the Hawks to trade him to their team (Sorry NY, you have no enticing assets outside of the guys you aren't going to trade).
-Courtney Lee will be traded to the Thunder for DJ Augustin/Steve Novak/2nd rounder after Phoenix's price of PJ Tucker will be too high.
-Jeff Green will be traded to the Clippers for Lance Stephenson. There will be more players involved but those will be the primary names.
-New Orleans will trade one of Eric Gordon/Ryan Anderson but not both of them.
-Ben McLemore will be traded to the Bucks are Jerryd Bayless and the Clippers pick that belongs to the Bucks this year.
-I predict that atleast one player who has not been brought up in trade rumors at all this season will be traded that will shock the world.

I'm also fairly certain over half my predictions will not come true. I just really want a epic trade deadline like there was last year.

Wonder if we could squeeze Capella out of that deal

  • GOT IT!!!
Can we get a merge??

Griffin = Goes nowhere
Love = Goes nowhere
Melo = goes nowhere
Howard = Goes to Mia ( Howard for Whitside, Deng, Mcroberts, Anderson and pick )
Horford = Lands in bos( Lee, Sully, a few mid 1sts)
Harris = Atl
Teague = Orl
Rubio = Indy ( Hill and filler)
Monroe = Stays in Mil

what do you think will happen ?

I can see all that happening honestly outside of the Harris trade today obviously. Horford to the C's makes a lot of sense. If that's all it took to get him I'd do it. Blake isn't going anywhere until Doc loses in the 2nd round again. Then I can see on draft night where Doc gets what he can out of him.
