Just a fun/interesting idea with all the trade rumors flying around. We all know the Nets picks are going to be valuable (at the very least in 2016) but what if things changed for the better in Brooklyn.
Simple game: Make the Nets better this year, or later so that it directly affects the picks we own or could swap for.
I'll start:
Lopez, Bogdanovic, and Ellington or Larkin to Houston
Howard and Jennings to Brooklyn
Ty Lawson to Detroit.
Works in the trade machine and could benefit everyone. Houston gets something for Howard in Lopez who can create more offense with Harden. Brooklyn frees up $25+ million in cap over the next 1-2 years, cut Johnson and have two max slots available to pair with Young and RHJ. Detroit is a wash but Lawson seems like a minor upgrade for a team trying to get into the 7-8th playoff spot.
