Bradley is an idiot.

Why?

Dribbled for about ten seconds with only 20 left, completely ignored an open Smart, and then took a terrible contested three.

Yep, tried to be a hero.

You were saying?

Bradley is waiting for your apology.

He won the game for us. Sweet!

Doesn't mean he's still not an idiot for his stupid hero ball a couple possessions earlier.

I disagree.

He may have had a defender contesting the shot, but AB has always been very good at hitting contested jumpers (because he gets up so high high and has such a quick release), he actually had a pretty good look at that shot, and it was from a spot he likes.

IMHO the shot he had was as good as any shot available, and if he passed it up to Smart instead the result would have likely been no different...in which case you'd probably be criticising Bradley for not having the balls to take the shot (as everybody does when it's KO passing up shots).

If there are any guys on this team I trust taking a shot like that it's Bradley or Thomas - nobody else.  I had no problem with his shot.

Sully's contested, fade-away 18 footer (which he takes almost every tame and often near-airballs) was IMHO infinitely more infuriating.

Contested dribble pull-up from way beyond the 3 is a terrible shot.

This is what Stevens lives for and Dreams about. These opportunities to be the best Possible Coach. Right Now.

That's why I post this I had a feeling he's pull a miracle out if all this.

Smart, ET, AB, Zeller amazing

(a tad worried that KO was so upset by crowd reactions)

I don't want a player that mentally weak on my team. There is no way you can count on that type of weakness in the playoffs.

Without KO on the court we are a worse team - simple.

He might make mistakes from time to time and might not be perfect, but 90% of the time he's on the court we are a (significantly) better team.

Yes, when he plays well, we are hard to beat. But he has too many games like this. He is no star. I'd rather make a trade an upgrade that spot.

Everybody here says that about every player when they have a bad game.  If Turner had a bad game tonight, people would be saying that about him too.  Celtics Blog is incredibly 'flavour of the month' oriented.

Olynyk might not have big offensive games with consistency, but what he does do consistently is make our team better when he's on the court.

He doesn't do it every night, but he does it way more often than not.

If I were to punch players every time they had terribly bad games, then I'd be punching Sully, Zeller and Lee far more often that Olynyk and Amir.  Those guys are rarely great, but consistently solid.

Everyone should go read some of the comments at the Cavs blog. They're twice as bad as we are over here on losses, and I think this one especially stings for them!  ;D

Is it just me, or is Lebron looking much more human these days?

I wonder if age and mileages are starting to catch up with him.  I mean sure he had 30 tonight, but he also shot 9-25 from the field and 0-5 from three with 6 turnovers.

Plus I dunno, watching him play he just doesn't seem to physically dominate the way he used to - doesn't seem as explosive, and often looks like he's trying to force bad plays and getting frustrated as a result.

I've always felt that Lebron was a guy who was incredibly dependant on his physical dominance (athleticism, specifically) and that once it started to fade he wouldn't have the skills to continue to dominate the way guys like Kobe/MJ did late in their careers.  Starting to wonder if that's true because Lebron is only barely 30 and already looks a step behind where he once was.

I mean he still a great player, but he no longer looks like he is unstoppable, can dominate at will and is 2 levels above everybody else.  He looks defendable now.

With this version of Lebron, these Cavs are very much beatable.  Irving and Love are both pretty one dimension (and overrated, IMO players, and the rest of the roster is really nothing special.

Toronto could give them a real scare in a 7 games series, and I think even Boston would make it
tough.

I think this Eastern conference is more wide open than people think.

It might not be a coincidence that this is the year they started really testing HGH, too. Hell, I was watching the movie Trainwreck the other night, and it was just amazing how big Lebron's head/brow have gotten, which is a side effect of HGH abuse.

HGH does seem to be in the news quite a bit this week, doesn't it?

Hilarious.  A couple of their comments...

"So tomorrow, Lebron will sulk once again and throw the game."
"This team needs to be strangled, especially Lebron."

I love it.
