Fantasy? Yes, but going back over recent drafts and it's amazing to see how influential these three drafts could have been on Celtics present and future as I can't remember so many top talents falling in consecutive drafts.

*Please note I love Ainge and his drafting talent

2011

Actual #25 MarShon Brooks, #55 E'Twaun Moore
Fantasy #25 Jimmy Butler, #55 Isaiah Thomas

2012

Actual #21 Jared Sullinger, #22 Fab Melo
Fantasy #21 Jae Crowder, #22 Draymond Green

2013

Actual #13 Kelly Olynyk #53 Colton Iverson
Fantasy #13 Giannis Antetokounmpo #53 Matthew Dellavedova

Can you imagine the team competitiveness of Crowder, Butler and Green?

***special note

What????

Brandon Bass is evolving!!!

  • That's turrible
We'd probably be contending if that happened. But like people have said in the past, you just have no idea how good certain guys will be. And if Dray and IT had gotten drafted while Doc was still here, would they really have developed well at all? Doc always shuns the rooks.

you could play this game with every other team that had picks before those guys were selected in the second round.

The reason those guys slid so far is that there were significant question marks about their games/health/potential.  I have no issues with who Danny selected except for Fab.
