did brad use his timeouts too late on magic comeback run and did  brad allow too many threes along with what seemed was rushed shot selection  and little inside game-my perspective on this loss is blurred by having to stay up late
the game started at 12:00 in england
last querry, the doubling down of vucevic didn't work because of good shooting, couldn't we have switched defensive game plan and gotten somone in fourniers face as well as mario

on a better note, marcus has shown a big improvment in attacking the hoop and drawing fouls

Early in the game the word was he was exhorting his starters from the sideline to be aggressive shooting and to not pass up good looks.

Later in the game, at least, it probably would have been better had he been directing them to go to the basket more.

No. It's on the players, like most losses.

Yes it was Brad's game. We had a comfort leade through the whole game and very bad opponent but we lost it all in last 5  minutes. If it was about Cavs I wouldn't say a word, but Magic!? C'm ooon...!!
Bradley showed with his airballs that he is first to be traded if something opens till Feb.18th.

I thought we should have put Sully in and went down low. I know he wasn't having a great game but we could have used him inside

Get real.   He was 2-7 from the field and 0-1 from three point land and had 4 rebounds in 18 minutes and three fouls.   In what fantasy world, would that have helped us, J804?  What exactly could we have used more of, misses?   Because, he was not rebounding solidly this game.  Truth is, Vucevic is a solid starting center and Sullinger is not.   He is playing as a starter but is he a starting caliber center?   Nope, not on a good team and this kind of game magnifies that fact because ORL has size and athletic ability across the board, the two things Sully lacks.   He has bulk and guard positionally, but other guys swooped in around him.  I also thought the effort was not solid this game which compounded that.

I thought our perimeters defenders got cute.  They let ORL kill us down the stretch.   ORL has a very solid bench too.  Our players took them lightly, they wanted payback and we got caught sleeping.

TOs in the fourth hurt us, ET's technical melt down, hurt too, not stuff CBS did.

Yea i was expecting him to call a time out but he didn't.  It was annoying.

Brad Stevens has to be factored in. Even Gregg Popovich had the one playoff game everyone probably agrees he choked.

Brad Stevens is still developing. He sometimes forgets to call timeouts. I sometimes question his substitutions. If I had no info and just started watching the team this year and saw Stevens playing David Lee, I'd have labeled him a scrub for a coach.

I didn't like what he did last year with Brandan Wright and Jameer Nelson. I think Brad used the word experimenting.

On the other hand, I think Stevens is as good as you can get for a coach. No one is perfect. If I had to guess, I bet Stevens makes it into the Hall of Fame. Just look at what he's done. People take it for granted.

He can still cost us games, however, and it seems he had a bad one at Orlando.
