I never really had much of an opinion on Redick but when he moved to the Clippers he went straight to my not liking pile just because of the team and the Doc situation.

Having said that I listened to him on Woj's podcast last week when they spoke about this project and his time in the NBA, it was honest, insightful, and really reminded a lot of these guys are just a persona on the court. I'll be listening to it, a very interesting move for a player who is active and respected around the league.

He did this podcast with J. Dudley who is also a natural. These guys will be on ESPN or TNT when they're playing careers are over. JJ and with the word "yall" needs to go though.

They talked about:

- The college days, BC vs Duke
- Practice habits of teams (JJ said the Clippers and Doc DONT PRACTICE).
- How the game has changed, rules wise, and caters to small ball.
- Who they felt were snubbed from the all star game.
- The most overrated band, tv shows etc

It was worth the commute listen.

This will be a norm. Surprised it took this long for athletes to understand their brand power. Can't believe it wasn't until a few years ago Jeter got that Player's Tribute website up.

Redick is an absolute natural, and Dudley is as great as usual. I'll be listening every Monday for sure.

Got to admit it works. He such an ego maniac, though; every time you hear him there are 4-5 totally eye rolling moments.
