Lebron screwed us from seeing great basketball

 New teammates in Cleveland, same old situation.
 Awesome Lebron and a bunch of loser teammates.
 
 What great theatre it would have been to see true Champions respond to a crushing loss to the Spurs.
 To see Wade, Lebron and Bosh match up against the Warrior's this year would have been a great match up.

 The biggest Diva in sports today, will get crushed again if he returns to the finals this year. He probably will not win another ring now because of his decision to take his talents to Cleveland.

 Don't care for Lebron anymore, but I am a fan of watching basketball excellence. He would have won 1 more ring if he stayed with his "boys" in Miami, maybe more. Oh well. Here's to being a selfish Diva Queen James.

Cavs have looked legit since Lue took over.

Especially now that they are pushing the ball up the court more. Lebron is still the best player in transition. The way the Cavs are starting to play could be a game changer. The up tempo style even got Love some good looks before the defense could get set.

Meh, they're doing more of the same in all.

I mean, all they've done is beat the lowly Suns, the lowly Wolves, the alright Pistons, the Duncan-less Spurs.

Let's not go overboard with this. The Cavs were dominating the League prior to that as well.

Good for them for playing a bit quicker, but whatever at this point.

My take on it was he looked around after the 2014 finals beatdown by the Spurs , and said to himself Wade and Bosh just don't cut it anymore, The Cavs winning the lottery gave him the perfect opportunity to form a new younger big 3 that will be in closer to winning it all than an aging Wade and Bosh.

LeBron has disappointed me with how poorly he played with Chris Bosh in Miami and now with Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving in Cleveland. Also, how LeBron's teams have had such a focus on individuality instead of teamwork (offensively). He doesn't bring teams together. He doesn't get the most out of the guys around him.

That is disappointing to see from such a truly tremendously talented player.

If it was the criticism that he could not do it alone, then he wouldn't move to a team with Kyrie and then push to acquire Love. I think the main reason for his move imo is that he knew Wade's game was falling off big time and Bosh wasn't far behind. Lebron therefore knew he wouldn't have enough help to get another ring or two before his own game falls off. In Cleveland, Kyrie is very young and arguably one of the top scorers and go-to guys in the game when healthy, and Love is also very young and was supposed to be a huge presence on offense who could stretch the floor better than Bosh. This would set up Lebron to legitimately contend for another 5 years, and the 'official story' of redemption and return to Cleveland was an added bonus.

The Cavs/Lebron screwed up big time however imo by trading Wiggins for Love and hiring Blatt though. Then acquiring Shumpert and JR Smith instead of more talented/team oriented players. They also gave too much praise and money to Tristan Thompson. That money should have been used for a player that would better complement what that roster had.

Lue is going to make them much better.
He's going to make Lebron a facilitator and less of a scorer.
Lebron wants to be a scorer, but the best thing for his team is to let him create and find Kyrie and particularly Love.

They are going to be a threat in the finals with Lebron playing more point forward/point guard.

when Jerry Kruse (sp) made his infamous 'organizations win championships) statement he was unfairly criticized in my opinion. In retrospect I think he was absolutely right.

A look at the last four dominant NBA superstars.

Shaq could not get it done in Orlando until he got help in LA.

Kobe could not get it done until got Phil back and added Gasol and Bynum.

Duncan has always been surrounded by incredible talented players and coaching.

LeBron... well we are watching his case unfold.

So why did MJ get all the accolades when he was actually the beneficiary of one of the best run organizations in NBA history.  I know the answer, do you?

Bingo. Never bought this going home crap the minute they won the lottery and he knew Love could be had he was ready to jump ship and form a new Big Three.

He has a consistent history of screwing with the basketball gods, the firing of Blatt just one more example.

The Clippers are perhaps the cautionary tale. This could also relate to Danny's ongoing internal debate on whether to go slow and steady or shoot for fireworks.

Wiggins got traded for the overrated Kevin Love. They have put a lot of money into a few players who aren't worth it.

LeBron is the opposite of Paul Pierce who never lost his love of the game no matter what the team record. Every time I've ever watched LeBron, he seems the opposite. It seems he doesn't like basketball, that he is trapped by it, same as many Hollywood child actors became trapped from early success before fully maturing.

Well, if this was in fact Lebron's motivation, he probably made the wrong choice.  2 years later and Wade/Bosh are still a better duo than Kyrie/Love.  Now, in 2 more years, sure, it'll be a totally different story.

Getting rid of Blatt may had been the best move they could had made.

People want to hate on Lebron because he's Lebron but the guy knows what the Cavs need to do to win. And so far, they look better. The ball is moving more on offense. They are pushing the pace and guys like Love and Irving are actually more involved. The ball is no longer sticking like it was before. The only question now is if these guys can maintain this style or trust it. It's very possible that come playoffs Lebron tries to do too much again and their offense slows up. But if it doesn't, we should be in for a great finals between Cavs and Warriors.
