What would you ask for If you were Jerry Hinkie, or Sam Colangelo.  8)

They want Kelly I'm sure, I'd like to trade

Sully, Rozier, Mickey or Young and Dallas and Boston 2016 first rounders.

Colangelo might bite at this combination of talent.we could also trade Zeller if they preferred him.

Side effect is the 76ers end up winning more games and help are Brooklyn pick out.

If I were Hinkie or Colangelo, I'd ask for the Brooklyn 1st, Marcus Smart, Jae Crowder and every other asset...  Then when Danny laughed and hung up the phone, I'd call back and ask for Marcus Smart.

But honestly, if I were Hinkie or Colangelo, I'd look outside Boston for options.  Danny Ainge is too shrewd.  He's not going to make a deal that isn't a landslide victory for him.  I wouldn't even bother dealing with Boston.

Instead, I'd look to other rebuilding teams that might want to drop a quality vet... someone a bit more polished and a safer bet than Marcus Smart.   If Atlanta fears losing Horford and moves him before the deadline, wouldn't they be a great landing spot for Noel?... at the price of Teague or Shroeder + additional value?

I'd call up the Suns and see which PG they want to hang onto long term between Brandon Knight and Eric Bledsoe.  If I'm Hinkie/Colangelo, I probably ask for Bledsoe.  Makes me a much better team next year and it doesn't hurt the tank job in the short-term.

For Kelly, nope. C's defense is not the problem, its offense is... and Kelly has been good to great.

For Sully, eh maybe. Sully at least gives us solid rebounds. And again, a better offensive option than Nerlens.

I know the numbers show Nerlen's offensive output, but his lack of floor spacing compared to Kelly and Sully - this will create issues.

We're at the point with Nerlens where I'm not sure he's a better young prospect than the two young bigs on the current Cs.

Trading Noel might not even be the best move for Philly.   They might be better off moving Okafor.

This season, Noel is averaging 14 points, 8 rebounds, 1.9 blocks, 2.1 steals with 64% shooting as the starting center.  He seems to be a better fit for what they want to do there.  They could probably get more for Okafor anyways.

This year's Nets 1st. It can be top 1 protection only. Gives Philly even more shots at Ingram/Simmon and it's still going to be top 10. C's will counter top 2 protection and throw in Mickey + Rozier.

Honestly, AB seems like a fair trade for him. Yes Noel is a beast on defense, however he ranks 3rd worst in the league in ORPM.

Noel is stuck in a bad situation in Philly. Pretty sure if he was on the Cavs, he'd look like an absolute beast out there. I don't know what Sixers could want from us other than picks.

Nets 1st with top 2 protection, plus our pick this year, plus Philly's 2nd this year, plus filler/flyers. Noel could make this team a defensive juggernaut for several years. Smart, Bradley, Crowder, Amir, Noel as a legit shutdown defensive unit when needed. If we win the #1 pick, plug in Simmons at PF, if we win #2, plug in Ingram at SF and move Crowder to PF. Isaiah and Kelly start/sub in for offensive purposes. Signing a 3rd tier star or trading for a superstar still on the table.

Noel would be perfect. We'd threaten whatever the records are for forcing turnovers. We'd be miserable for fine-tuned top offenses to play. And we'd still be good enough on offense ourselves. Stevens would love working Noel's passing into the system.

I think that has a lot to do with him playing out of position on a team with no decent guards (except for league MVP Ish Smith).

I'd try to get Philly to bite on a Sullinger, Jerebko, Rozier package. Throw in a future first (from somewhere other than Brooklyn) and maybe a pair of 2nd rounders. If they don't like that, they can have one of Young or Hunter. I think that'd be fair.

But they have Embiid, he's the true Savior.

Noel and KO would be better.  We need floor spacing.

FYI Celts can't protect that pick. Once a pick is traded with protections those protections can't be changed.

Nets 1st with top 2 protection, plus our pick this year, plus Philly's 2nd this year, plus filler/flyers. Noel could make this team a defensive juggernaut for several years.
