I read a rumor the sixers are not completely happy with Okafor.

Danny....

Is looking for "Love "

in all the wrong places ....

He should be on the phone about Nerlins

Crowder would exactly a fit for Cavs ......but NO Way I'd trade Crowder or Smart for Love.

Would you even trade Crowder for Noel? I wouldn't. Noel kind of sucks.

I read a rumor the sixers are not completely happy with Okafor.

I mean, they've got 3 center prospects and I think this year has shown pretty clearly they can't expect to have any success playing Noel and Okafor together.

They're probably not happy about that.

Do I believe they dislike Okafor as a player and will try to trade him sooner rather than later?  No.

I don't see how Philly can keep Noel, Okafor, and Embiid for too much longer, though, so I suspect one or more of them will become available.  They'll most assuredly demand quite a haul, though.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

KO is becoming a cheaper, more defensive alternative to Love.  And at this point,  quite frankly I'd rather ride with KO than trade for Love. To be honest i hope we take the team development route with this rebuild and not just get trade happy...

I agree that KO is improving, and I'd also like to hang on to him, but is he ever going to approach what Love can do in the scoring and rebounding departments?
Olynyk will never be as good as Love in finishing around the hoop and rebounding. Small hands. Pay attention to how he shoots his layups -- he can barely palm the ball.

Yeah, small hands really killed Moses Malone and Dave Cowens' ability to finish and rebound. LOL.

does KO have trouble finishing or is that a baseless myth made up by people who thinks he's soft?
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

No Brooklyn picks for Love.  End of story. Also, no Smart or KO.

If we can turn Rondo into Crowder and a pick, then turn those into Love, then I'm pretty psyched, though.  If they get Crowder, they also have to take Turner with him.

If someone told me a year ago we could get Love for Crowder and filler I would say it's a big joke.  As much as I love Crowder I would have to do this.  It would also allow to save some bullets for other moves.  Maybe then go after Gordon Howard, and again save the Nets pick.  Then go after Horford in the summer.

I doubt I'd trade Crowder or Smart either ....they are the NEW Celtic era and define what CBS is trying to do.   I doubt I'd trade KO .....if he continues to improve.

Noel is in a awful situation .  His,body language is now showing .  Kinda like what happened to,Crowder at Dallas , he needs a place to call home.  Noel's talent is wasted on trash team , with no coach or vision .

Noel would perk up with DA and CBS .  He wants to be a Celtic . He wants a good coach ....he needs the type of,team we have to thrive.

I trade Sully , AB , Young , Rozier , Lee , Amire. .....any number of combinations .

I don't know. He shoots about 31% from 3 to 10 feet out (not quite a layup but not yet a real jump shot), where Love is about 10 percentage points higher. You tell me.

I'm with you on this.  I'd rather keep Amir if possible, but any other combination of those guys and non Brooklyn picks.

He's terrible in midrange, that's why he takes most of his shots from 3 and at the rim (63%). I want him to learn to use the glass but when you say finishing, people usually mean at the rim and he finishes well there.

Been saying it a while Crowder, AB and JJ + Dallas 1st for Love. Cavs would better match up with Warriors. C's finish off year with Tuner, Hunter and Young playing SF.
IT, Smart, Turner, Love, AJ

Offseason
-Nets pick take Ingram.
-Trade C's 2016 1st, Philly 2nd, and Nets 2017 for Noel.
IT, Smart, Ingram, Love, Noel

Isn't it crazy that a year ago it'd be ridiculous to think that Crowder would net Love in a trade. Now I'm not sure I'd want to give Crowder up for him... Crowder is tough and he's a winner, Love isn't. Crowder has become the backbone of this team

Correct me if I'm wrong but technically speaking I don't think that works under the CBA because the Celtics don't have the Nets pick in 2017. They can swap picks with the Nets but they don't own it so it's still technically the Celtics pick, and the Celtics can't trade consecutive picks. This works if you make it the 2018 Nets pick though!

We can trade consecutive picks because we have other 1st rounders to make up for it. Correct me if wrong.

As much as I love Crowder on this team, looking at it objectively, I think you absolutely take a Crowder for Love swap. At the end of the day, talent is talent. Sure Crowder is a big part of our "core" right now but I don't think the team is good enough anyway to have that core untouchable. It's not like we're the Spurs, breaking up a dynasty in their prime.
