I don't think I'd want Faried.

agree ....he skill set is narrow

I always thought Josh Smith was the quintessential "Guy whos only in the league because hes tall and athletic". I think it's safe to say Faried has taken his place. Atleast Smith can play defense and rebound.

Ryan Hollins.

That's a better one but Hollins has always been fighting just to stay in the league. Faried atleast has always been a rotation player.

Young Josh Smith was a hell of a player

If he didn't make so much I'd love to have him now (off the bench), he can still be very useful. I bet cbs would make great use of him.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Yeah, there are like a million other players I would say that about, but not Smith. He may not have had the best shot selection, but he was a pretty complete player before the disaster in Detroit.

That was a big time defensive play from Faried.

Good timeout!
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

He's making very little right now, I think. He was amnestied/bought out (whatever particular cap move it was) last year by Detroit, which took away that big contract.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.
