There is nothing wrong with wanting more money . It's the timing that makes no sense. He made his bed .....what done is done ....why cry about what is water under bridge. Happens to us all.
But there is a time to go public when it makes sense. And in a professional mannor .
Celtics can't pay more right now even if they wanted by the contract rules .
So.....my issue is WHY even put this out there , chance disrupting team cohesiveness over something that can't be dealt with for such a long time out there.
This is in very poor taste if he put this out for public consumption.
I forgot where Bradley went public with this. All he did was change agents, nothing else. The rest is conjecture at this point..
I hope so. I would be kinda mad if I were his teammate .
Not sure why his teammates would be mad. IT is also unhappy with the contract his agent managed for him. That's not a secret.
You have to remember this are kids here, they put a lot of weight into what the agents tell them. So there's an variable here on how well informed and advised they felt they were to make proper informed decision. I think that's the key part here.
Hindsight 20/20, but I'm sure Bradley is seeing this as a missed opportunity for not angling himself for a shorter deal.
I'm sure Mickey will soon be mad that he took that long deal, but he seemed to be well informed when he decided to sign it by all accounts.
All that said, I haven't heard a peep from Bradley's mouth, and until then this is all guesswork... or maybe the former agent leaking convos as to why he was fired, or maybe it is the new agent trying to set the new stage. Who knows.
