Sorry if already posted, and bc during Pats game. But G.Washburn, in his Blatt post, had a tidbit about Averys contract:

Quote
Avery Bradley has changed agents from Mitchell Butler of the Rival Sports Group to Rob Pelinka, who also represents Kobe Bryant. Butler was able to procure the oft-injured Bradley a four-year, $32 million contract extension last summer, considered an above-market deal. Now Bradley is apparently unhappy with his contract, especially after seeing players such as Milwaukee’s Khris Middleton (five years, $70 million), Utah’s Gordon Hayward (four years, $61 million), and Cleveland’s Tristan Thompson (five years, $82 million) cash in with lucrative extensions, making Bradley’s deal appear to be a bargain with the new television money increasing the salary cap this summer.

I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

AB was happy with it when he signed it.  it's still more money than he'll ever need in his lifetime.  just suck it up and honor the deal.

Nothing he can do about it now. Gotta wait until next contract.

That makes sense considering he's a shooting guard.

I would be unhappy with my agent too. I don't expect Avery to not play his hardest because of his bargain deal, though.

Great deal at the time, but of course it doesn't look so hot anymore for Bradley. Lot of teams would love a quality SG at that price and those years. Thankfully it appears Bradley is less angry with the Cs, but more so with his agent.

TP.
Long-form is far from dead, but please refrain from paragraph-laden posts! Who wants to read that?!

Bradley wasn't playing anything like this before he signed his contract. He has become a better player through his work, but he wasn't like this before he signed.

He was also, what, 22, when he signed? Already at that point he was a borderline starter, some may argue a legitimate starter. And everyone knew the boatload of money the new TV deal would bring in. He should've been paid more. I'm happy he wasn't, though.

He shouldn't have signed it then. For an average role player, he should feel lucky that he is getting the money he's being paid.
