Im going to say five guys right now I would be ecstatic to see join the Celtics. I'm hoping the list grows slightly.

 Simmons
 Ingram
 Bender

 Gap

 Jaylen Brown
 Buddy Hield (he's that good)

 Big gap

Kris Dunn (just don't need a point)
 Skal
 Ellenson
 Jakob Poeltl
 Ivan Rabb
 Diamond Stone

It's really the top four, but I love Hield too.

I'm with your top 4 but I'd put Kris Dunn in there too ahead of Hield.
Hield I'm still pondering. Wanna see if he can keep this shooting up for the rest of the season.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

If Ainge drafts K.Dunn, then trade Smart for Noel. That would be awesome.

It looks like Simmons and Ingram are locks to be stars - probably all-stars, maybe superstars.

I think Brown and Rabb have that kind of potential too. I like Brown a lot. I know he can't shoot yet, but I think in 5 years, people are going to wonder how he wasn't in the mix for the number 1 pick.

Dunn, Skal, Heild, and Ellenson are possible stars, but things have to break right for them. Dunn and Heild need the ball a lot to be in the flow of the game. On the wrong team they may struggle.

Skal and Ellenson both have potential in the right system to start and even star, but their development has to go well. Both need body work. Both need to toughen up and be willing to bang.

I haven't really seen much about the foreigners other than youtube clips. It's hard to say.

I don't need to see any more of Hield. Best shooter in the draft by far.

You draft the best player available, and by most measures Dunn is a top 5 pick.  They will take him if he is there.

Ellenson I haven't seen enough of.  He looks good at time other times he reminds me of Keith Van Horn.  I wonder how physically skilled he is.  He has a nice bounce to his step though. Poeltl looks good too. He is really good around the basket.  Simmons has too much explosion to not be good.  Jaylen Brown is super explosive.  I would be happy with any of the top 10.

Dunns stock is down in my eyes, I'd take Rabb over him,  amd Jakob too.

I really like Buddy Hield and I also like Melo Trimble, I think Trimble is just as good as Dunn and can be gotten with a later pick.

Ingram and Simmons and that is it. Which sucks because now I am in a position in which I have to root for luck instead of probability.

Before the season I was hoping/praying that Ingram would be overlooked because of a stacked Duke team and his age which also emphasizes his lack of strength/mass. After Duke lost a key player I knew Ingram would get more time but I was hoping that his slow start would kinda be the norm for his play at Duke....I was hoping/praying he would be available 4-8.

Simmons is 1.2 years older than Ingram, Skal is 1 1/2 years older, Brown is 1 year older.....Bender is a month or 2 younger than Ingram.

I think Ingram is what this team needs. In 3 years he will be a top 10 player IMO(without injury), and he's not a player that we have to look at and wonder if he is using steroids.....that does come up sometimes. I can see him in the league for a very long time and he reminds me of a T-mac/KD Hybrid and he can play the 2 right away.

Also his 3pt shooting is 42% with 5.3 attempts per game and IMO the step to the NBA 3pt line will not be a problem. He will get longer range naturally by 2 main factors: more training time( which he is a year behind) and natural strength throughout his entire body(again 1 year behind and evidence that he is getting bigger and that younger adults gain faster)
