  • GOT IT!!!
Not sure he'll ever be a star but he'll have a long term future in the league for sure. He has done as tremendous job working on his jump shot and handles. Still turns the ball over a little too much but it's not something to be concerned about long term. Needs to find the right team that can maximize his talent. The C's system is definitely one of those teams. Would love to watch him light it up in green.

I already liked him last year. At the very least, he could be a good shooter from the bench for us.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

Yeah, I think that's his floor.

Only players in NBA history to shoot 50/40/90

Bird, Nash, Durant,Price,Miller, Dirk, Curry is on pace this year.

This kid is shooting better from three than from two  what a season he's having. All time great college shooting performance for the whole season.
That list isn't actually accurate.  Steve Kerr is actually in the 50/50/90 club.  He did that in the 95/96 season.  He played 23.4 minutes a game and played in all 82 games so it wasn't just a partial season.  Now granted he wasn't bombing shots all over the place and perhaps didn't qualify in one, but therein lies the rub with stats like that.

Then you have the weird situation on a guy like Ray Allen who shot 50% from two, but not from the field (as a result of all his three pointers) who would actually be in that group if you looked at 2PT%/3PT%/FT% (Allen did that for Boston in 08/09 for example).  There are also plenty of guys who fall just short of the foul shooting.  John Stockton, for example, was over 50/40 for something like 8 of his seasons, but never quite hit 90 from the line.
