Only players in NBA history to shoot 50/40/90

Bird, Nash, Durant,Price,Miller, Dirk, Curry is on pace this year.

This kid is shooting better from three than from two  what a season he's having. All time great college shooting performance for the whole season.

He's like JJ Redick but more athletic and a better defender. Watch this guy shoot up the draft boards.

He actually works on his shot, too.

Nice accomplishment, especially when every team is game planning to stop him.

He's going to be real good as a pro.

I'm watching Buddy for the first time here. He can fill it up.  Not sure he's a player we want though.

He can shoot and plays defense. Why on earth wouldn't we want him?
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

Well that's a good point.  Having Buddy Hield wouldn't hurt. Over other players though. Not so sure. I haven't seen Dunn play yet either but I'd take Hield over him just because he's a shooter.

Dunn is good. He's a bit turnover prone, but he has all the makings of an excellent NBA PG. Hield is probably a better fit with us though as he projects as a two guard. I think he'd be great next to Marcus.

I don't think that's a decision we'd have to make unless Hield rises a lot from current projections.

DraftExpress for example has Dunn at #4 and Hield at #17. If Hield doesn't rise too much, it's conceivable we could get him with one of our later picks (maybe sweetened with an early second rounder to move up, e.g., #21 and #34 for #17 or something).

Dunn seems like a real good pg in that mold of some of the undersized penetrators and scorers of late. He plays good D too I figure.  I just prefer Marcus and I like what we have in Rozier too.  And Isaiah.  We don't need Dunn. Hield is fun to watch. He should succeed in the pros but he isn't the most prototypical guy either.  Reminds me of Tate George sometimes.  He is outworking everyone at the college level.  I still see his potential though.  Both he and Dunn are good prospects.

I think Hield will succeed in the  pros just because of his size and work ethic but what do I know.

Skal, Bender, Simmons, Brown and Ingram are freak athletes.  After that I'd take Hield though.

I think JJ Redick is a really good comp for Hield. Elite shooters who play defense. That's the ideal two guard IMO.

I hope we stay as far away from Skal as humanly possible (unless he falls far).

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
He's a much better overall player than Reddick.
His shooting is phenomenal but he can finish under contact, drive to the hole and has very good vision
JJ is a catch and shoot guy that sometimes catches and gets to the basket off curls when weaker defenders are on him. Hield is an athlete that can shoot and drive like Ray Allen.

Going to be an incredible player in the NBA.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.
