I eat burritos basically that much as well (though I make my own) but man he seems to order the worst thing you could get.  Burrito bowl with two salad dressings!  Sounds like slop.

Don't remember site where I read a different  recent amusing article but I should have saved the link. If some one knows it they should link it. Its different interview of DA in which DA talks about "having to lose games" to get better in 06-07 season. Author straight wrote tank at the end of his comment lol. And then DA comments this current team he finds an interesting challenge to trying to get to winning as it is built in a different way despite the system. 

 I could have got the gm jargon wrong but if right, he admitted to having to lose games to get better/tank in 06-07. And this current team is not going the route the system tells him he should go. Not just amusing its telling for the Pro draft builders vs winning priders. That interview should be posted up and talked about.

That '06-07 team was a lot crappier than this year's Celtics team.  They were already sub .500 when Pierce went down and, once that happened, it made it a lot easier to go in the tank since the supporting cast around him clearly couldn't carry the load given the mix of in over their heads youth & pass their prime veterans they had.

That route basically makes zero sense for this team.

EDIT:  The Tony Allen injury a few weeks after Pierce went out spelled the death knell for that team and its direction.

I'm not positive about this team not being sell proof being one game over .500 but I agree it's unlikely. It seems C's are committed to the "interesting challenge" as DA said. I was just thinking about the view of tanking. Tanking gets the knock from Cfans claiming winning pride but pro drafters(tank supporters), sports writers and now even our team's own gm says its the system forcing many teams to build that way not the fault of franchise deciding to build that way (exception being 76ers). That is the modern NBA.

It's against the Sixers but his shot was falling and he was eating up ball handlers.  Over the last week or so Marcus's points are over 10. He's shooting about 46 % with 6 boards a few assists, a couple steals and plus 3's. I can't stand Turner at the point but with added responsibility this is more the Marcus we want to see. If Marcus had to take a day to practice 3 pt shooting it paid off, makes me wonder how much practice time he is getting though.

The great thing is I'm starting to get excited to see what Smart will do in his next game.

He's definitely making adjustments and his game is getting better.

Best change in his game is him finding his shot 5 feet or more from the hoop where he can find clean air. He's no longer forcing the action into the defender at the rim.

That's why these cupcake games are important.  It gives Marcus a chance to work on stuff like this.  Anyone know how often the Celtics practice during the season?

Marcus is a bull though. He might not have the lift or is quick as some of these other guys but he is physical enough and jumps high enough where he should be able to get to the rim.  I think he's quick enough.  His first step is fine imo.  just keep working on it and baiting the defender.

Love his steals and getting into the paint in that clip.  Really painful to see that most of those steals turned into horribly botched fast breaks, though.
