45% from Three on 5 attempts a game!
$3mill/year contract!

I think this guy would be a great bargain buy. If we were to consolidate 1 of our bigs (ideally Zeller) + Evan Turner + Dallas 1st Rounder for him to just be a spot shooter, we'd clear up frontcourt/wing roster clog.
While also getting not a terrible defensive player (only a -0.2 dpm).

Benefits for BOS
  • More Shooting on the floor
  • Shipping off ET means more ballhandling for Smart
  • Less Frontcourt players
  • 1 less drafted player to commit to

Benefits for SAC
  • Any first rounder for Omri Casspi is an over-pay

Even at the end of the game, we lined up in different formation that he hadn't seen and he called out our play before I got the ball. I heard him calling it out. -John Wall on Brad Stevens

SAC wants to make the playoffs and Casspi is very important for them.  Don't see him getting traded.

I like Casspi, though, he's a better version of Jerebko.

Man i would absolutely love having both Casspi and Jerebko.. It makes small ball a lot less stressful when there's more of guys like this on the team, than guys like Z and Lee
