I'm not sure if its been floated yet - but I think this trade makes sense for both teams -

Kevin Love for Boogie Cousins

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=nzdlfck

WHY: You get Kevin Love to go out West to play with Rondo and WCS and Rudy Gay. Sac Town gets a new face of the franchise. they'd be pretty mediocre but hopefully provides better spacing for WCS down low and Rondo to penetrate

WHY: Love is NOT the answer in Cleveland. Hopefully a Big 3 of Bron, Kyrie and Boogie can get it done against the GSW. The only drawback I see is having to have TT (a MAX player) on the bench. Have the Cavs play small ball with Boogie at the 5, and Bron at the 4.....

Thoughts?

I absolutely would if I was Cleveland, but Sacramento would be insane to do it (unless Boogie demands out).
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

Love would be a nice get for Sacramento if they're decided to move him (Cousins). But why trade for a player who's a malcontent and will put you in the same spot as you're now in the end? Who knows.

I think Cleveland would be just as dumb to take the deal. Adding Cousins adds another potential issue to that locker room, and nobody knows how he's going to fare as a third option with a lot fewer touches than he's used to.

I do think it'd be a nice get for Sacramento, though, especially since they have WCS to help cover Love's defensive issues. Also, they'd have him under control for two more years than Boogie, even though Love might be miserable the entire time in Sacramento lol

Honestly, I'm Cleveland I say screw locker room issues. That team would be deadly.

They did bring in JR Smith, not exactly Ron Artest but as we all know, not a poster child for the league.

That being said I don't think the cavs need another headcase, they seem to have good chemistry right now.
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

I don't think Boogie has it in him to be a third option. I think he's best as a primary one or two option. I don't think he's ready to focus defensively and do the things the team needs to win, especially if that means cutting his offensive touches down.

Well they've already had several team meetings this year regarding staying focused and working hard. I don't think Cousins, a serial pouter, is the right move for them.

That being said, someone like the C's almost has to chance it with Boogie due to his overwhelming talent and our relative lack of pure talent.

Pretty much this.  CLE is a team in "Win-Now" mode and certainly the overwhelming favorite to come out of the East.  This instantly becomes the best team Cousins has ever played on & a legit shot to make the Finals.  I'd imagine he'd fall in line real fast playing with still arguably the best basketball player in the world.

I like the idea of this trade for both teams.  But would be more interested in seeing what it would take the Celtics to get Love from the Cleveland first.  Almost do a trade for Love and Mozgov if it only cost at say Lee, Jerekbo, Zeller, Olynyk and say Dallas 1st maybe a couple 2nd rounders.

Cleveland
Love
Mozgov

Boston
Lee
Jerebko
Zeller
Olynyk
Dallas 1st
Couple 2nd rounders

Cleveland gets a stretch 4/5 in Olynyk to replace Love's spacing and shooting.  Lee expiring contract and his rebounding this year, plus could give them solid minutes.  Jerebko 3/4 player they could use.  Zeller is Mozgov replacement for cheaper and same skill sets.

Boston get Love and our big in Mozgov and get rid of some of the draft picks.

If the Kings are interested in a trade for Love I'm trying to strike first in getting love. Since we could make a deal with Love and say our 2016 1st round pick, or 2018 1st round pick and a couple seconds.  We get to keep Brooklyn's pick this year and for future years.  I wouldn't even try this trade if they wanted Brooklyn's pick though.

I know this is a crazy idea, but figured I'd have fun with the thought.

I think it is an excellent trade for both teams (if Sac decides to move on from Cousins).

No brainer for CLE for SAC town maybe the best offer they get.   But I for one would never build a team around Love, it is better than the junk we have to offer though.

It's the Kings so this might be something they would do but I would NEVER trade Boogie for Love!! If Cous makes demands on being moved I'm going for great picks because Love is only moving the kings needle to a worse position than one with Cousins! Kings get worse and the Cavs have no picks that will even be considered decent for about 10 more seasons (reasitically at least 5)! No sir! Boogie at his best is a monster at touching every category offensively in a major way and he can also be great on defense at the same time. Love at his best is great on offense. Why do you think the kings would take on Love who isn't as dominant as Boogie when both of them will want out and complain but one of them isn't nearly as good as the other? If a big like Boogie can't make them good what do you think Love will do, did you miss him on the wolves? I give him a week to want out, that leaves Kings with a less valuable asset they will have to ship out after facing more losing. Nah, if I'm the kings if I HAVE to trade Cousins and continue losing its going to be with top picks of kids I choose!! Kids who can't force their way out for years! Even if the kids never turn us into winners, it's not like Love would have, Cousins didn't.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

This is actually the only trade idea I've ever read on this board that makes any sense, kudos.

I think it would take Love, Mozgov and future Cav's picks to even get the conversation started... Even then I don't think the Kings do it because they're the Kings and pairing a Big Man with Elite long range shooting with WCS, Rondo, and Rudy Gay makes too much sense.

Also, Tristan Thompson is trash, who cares if he's nailed to the bench?
