team is all role players.  we need better players although I'm warming up to Smart looking like a starter if he can get his jumper consistent out to 18 feet

And the hope is that Smart ends up being the legit all star. IT is more of a fringe star.

IT's a bench guy.  as Carlisle has shown for the second time, IT can be picked on D to the point he's taken out of the game on O.  he's also not a facilitator on O -- not to the level I prefer for a PG

Hes good enough to make an all star game. He's not a role player.

getting voted to the all-star game is a popularity contest, not a real evaluation of skill/talent
