So we have a ton of draft picks but our philosophy is not to play rookies.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

We have to showcase all of our assets!  ;)

Very impressed with Wall tonight.

He's right behind Chris Paul in the category of pure point guard.  He'll pass him soon.

Yep, I was really ticked when Oubre was picked right before us. I thought he would've been a really good fit for us who would've got immediate minutes behind Crowder.

More p--- poor draft talent evaluation by Danny.  RoZier was the pick they slotted?  Come on.  Again we need a sf. Lotta talent last year in the first round and we got one decent guy that sees a few minutes. Bleakly want to see Brad play these young guys more

The Wizards taking Oubre before our pick is because of poor scouting by Danny?

Yea, he coulda made a move.  He wanted to give up nine picks to move up 7 spots but couldn't get rid of a bunch of garbage pick and James young to get oubre?  He didn't even try to get a sf.  He was set on wait for it...another pg!

Any source on Danny not trying to move up a spot, or the Wizards being open to it?

Do you have a source he did?  It didn't happen not was he interested in gettin a sf when two were available at 16.

No, but I'm the one giving him the benefit of the doubt, not accusing him of something

Sorry I just get tired of glaring needs getting passed over for players we already have.  Maybe we'll get things in this years draft or maybe we'll get another god darn pg of pf >:(. Maybe Danny thinks  roZier if he develops can be a starter if Thomas or smart is traded

I actually hope he takes a PF (although BPA is key), because we still need a PF that can start on a championship team

Doesn't matter to me honestly as long as they're a go to scorer
and just to restate for the 15th billion time, you should NEVER draft for need. you should draft for bpa. a cardinal rule.

Can't completely agree with that and would argue that that philosophy, if adopted by Danny hasn't nexessarily worked.
you never take an inferior player based upon immediate team need since needs change, and sometimes quickly, leaving you with a team of players with lesser talent. draft talent, then trade for need.

Again i disagree with NEVER

These refs are so inconsistent... Such a BS call right there on Smart that wouldn't be called on the other side..

Our philosophy is to play the best players, not just give players minutes they haven't earned based on "potential"
I'm bitter.

I think 3 years of showcasing is enough  :P

This is honestly the first time I've been legit impressed by him.

The Wizards look a lot better than a 19-19 team in this game.
