Wall with 18 points, Gortat has 10 pts 9 reb.

As ever, teams with big point guards and centers that can score and rebound have a serious edge on the C's.
didnt the celtics win the first two games between these teams?

BLOWOUTS by us both times.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

So we have a ton of draft picks but our philosophy is not to play rookies.

I actually think they're all playing for Maine tonight.
didnt CBS play smart a lot last year? and hunter has gotten at least a little time. i dont thnk CBS is genetically wired to avoid playing rookies. i think he just plays those players he believes will help the team win. often that list does not include rookies.

Big guys that can score for sure, but I don't think it's necessarily big point guards that hurt us. We handled Wall and Beal just fine the first two games.

Granted, Smart was also a much better player and higher pick than anyone we have this year. I just wonder why he was utilizing Hunter and Young for awhile then stopped. I think he finally realized that the shortened rotations are best for us, which meant that the rookies were first to lose time.

IT? He has quite a few turnovers, but those aren't from ball-handling. They're from forcing stuff. Smart also is much improved at ball-handling, and he isn't prone to turnovers like IT and Turner.

(If the Pats are on 98.5 and the Bruins are on 100.7, like tonight, where does the Celtics game get aired on the radio in Boston?)

normally for the celtics, ET has done an okay job of handling the ball. in his two years here his assists per 36 are around 6/game, which is nicely above his career average.

but tonight, he has forced too many passes. he is trying to make difficult passes and not making them.

Yes, smart did. Top 7s usually do.

I just think all these picks are a waste if they don't play.

Some nights I'm not even sure if this team will make the playoffs, so playing only veterans doesn't make much sense.
