Did anyone else see this? I thought this was pretty awesome. Terry has always been a good guy, even if he was a total letdown in Boston.

Thanks for sharing. This is good.

I'm all in on our point guard. We are not a star-less team.

We have Thomas who deserves to be an All-star.

I was reading that article and thought it was really well written (and it truly is) but i lost a little of the warmth when i saw the next article up was "why hassan whiteside is an all-star."

When I think Whiteside I don't think all-star. Is that just me?

Normally, I would absolutely be inclined to agree on Whiteside, but Justise Winslow actually makes a fairly convincing argument for his big man.

Edit:

You think these guys are getting help, or do they just write that well?

They're getting help. Nearly every publication like that has an editor behind it who really reworks and rewrites the essay. You'd be amazed at some of the essays from authors that I've edited for publication. Hell, I consider myself a very good writer, but even my peer-reviewed publications have had serious edits for style by the journal editors.

If you vote for Hassan, I'm hot.  Turnovers, they'll be lower, son.  The All-Star vote for Whiteside is right thing to do, Miami, so do.

Someone should do one for Crowder. I think he's deserving of a nod as well.

Not saying that he doesn't, but that whole Washington clique is pretty close. It says a lot that someone from a different team wrote an article advocating for him.

Indeed, but I was looking through the potential SFs from the East, and right now I don't know who I see anyone I'd pick over him after LeBron, Carmelo, and George. And this only looking at the offensive side, when you add the defensive side to it, the gap widens.

Not sure how many players they pick by position though.

well if you took 5 at each spot you'd have a 20 man team.

Right, but there's a lot of duplicity in the positions. For example, is George coming in considered as a PF? How many PFs are coming in being considered as Centers?

Etc, etc. So not sure how they'll go about picking players per position regardless of how we might consider that player.

If you listen to the Vertical Podcast with IT, he says multiple times how Terry was a mentor for him in Seattle. Seemed like they are really close.
