  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
I was watching league pass so I had the Memphis announcers. When Boston was up 21, they talked about if they could slow the game down, be careful with the ball, and get a few stops in a row, there was still a chance.

I wouldn't say that they slowed down the game, but the many offensive rebounds and fast break points absolutely killed us. I am getting sick of watching these games.

Smart got that shot blocked like it was a volley ball game. Was a nice set and spike.

Stevens 4 President.

Maddening. Players have bad games, but this just seems to be a character flaw with Stevens. He is just incapable of managing these rotations with this roster.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

I don't know what happened before/during/after the Lakers game, but that was when everything went completely to ****. And I'm sure someone is going to point out that the Lakers game was Smart's second game back, but I doubt even the biggest of Smart's haters would put this all on him. Something is seriously wrong with this team.

These kind of total implosions after getting up double digits have become one of the defining features of Stevens' coaching.

Stevens 4 President.

Deserves a Profile in Courage Award because despite all evidence to the contrary and criticism from every fan with a brain, he continues to believe in David Lee.

Jokes aside these type of losses HAVE to be on the coach

Stevens is a flawed coach right now.  Outstanding in some areas, in rotations he has to be among the worst in the league.  Again I know he doesn't have an easy roster but I'm tired of the excuses and the continuing puzzling rotation choices.  To believe in them you have to think he sees something above what any other NBA coach has and that's just not the case.

Plays veterans because they are veterans.
Doesn't play our youth with a development angle.
No consistency night in and night out.
Plays too many players.
Shows little touch for knowing when to pull or insert players based on how the game is going.

It's time for this year's version of the Jeff Green trade.

So, are Jerebko and Zeller injured, or did Brad forgot how to coach? Also, why did we have a timeout to spare at the end of the game?

Our coach does not believe in spending all his timeouts.
