still hustles and plays defence ,moves good laterally, rebounds at both ends but is missing bunnies inside and looks hesitant-he looks thinner this year, has he stopped his gym work because he is in boston vs detroit that likes big tough guys-did he sacrifice bulk for speed
he doesn't seem to go up strong but has length and vertical supposedly-have all the trade rumors gotten to him after a shaky shooting start
-i have spotted him playing some superior defence moving those feet, even against guards-
he is still active on the boards and switches
it just seems his confidence has been rattled even putbacks he rushes-

I think we told him to slim down because we wanted to try him out at the 3, but that experiment didnt work so now he is just a skinny 4.

who gets a tommy point for correctness and brevity-
i'm a jerebko fan because he plays defence and is so active
,he also makes some very nice passes but i think he misses that bulk i percieve he  had last year underneath -the heck with finesse plays go back up strong and take the hit-

I think he was told to get ready to play some SF, so he lost the weight.  Or he looked at our roster and concluded that once we got Amir.

I do seem to recall a lot of talk around when we retained him and on that he'd be playing a lot of SF minutes or such. But he's always been a PF/SF type, so not sure if that's much of a difference of what's been his whole career.

I wish his shot was better this year, last year he was dangerous, this year not so much.

Dude has been in a slump for like 40 games.

Seems like a confidence/minutes thing.

Blow up the roster a little (quantity for quality) and he might become a lot more valuable.  Or he's not bad trade filler himself.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

He is shooting way better than his average from 3. He is shooting horribly from 2. He wasn't great from 2 for us last year, but he was much better than this season. Most of his stats are typical for his career performances.

He rotates to guys really quick, I'll give him that.

The thing is that his 3-point shooting is being sustained specifically because of TWO really good shooting nights.

The rest it's either been not-enough of a factor to matter or just bad.

Small sample size regardless. But one thing that has been factual is that through the whole season he's either been bad or inconsequential through most of it.
