Jae's FT %

12-13    .644
13-14    .754
14-15    .773
15-16    .833

Kelly's FT%

13-14    .811
14-15    .684
15-16    .642

Just saying...

Tommy keeps saying that Kelly is not taking his time at the line.  Can someone please tell Kelly to slow down.

Seriously though, how do you explain this regression?  What is different this year vs 2 years ago?  I am perplexed, help me.

If you're suggesting what I THINK you're suggesting, then I'd like to make the additional observation that Kelly's biceps are getting bigger and Jae's hair is getting straighter.

Just saying...

The ponytail giveth and the ponytail taketh away.

It seems he became more confident and assertive since he went with the ponytail, but at what cost!

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

Rushing it. He sometimes follow throughs. Sometimes does this quick , I know its in shot.

He needs to just slow down. Take a few dribbles first

You'd figure that KO's obsession with minutes would prompt him to milk it a little bit more at the line.  As Red said, "You have all the time....."

I'm not at practice every day or at any games really so I can't say weather or not they take advantage of it, but tommy is a terrific resource. He has been around basketball as long as anyone, a hall of fame player and coach. He has seen so many players that if you have a specific struggle tommy has probably seen it before and knows what needs to be done to fix it! I hope the players take advantage of such a resource.

Kelly just doesn't take enough free throws in any given game to get into a rhythm.  I think it's as simple as that. If he were taking 4-5 free throws a night he'd probably be at least a 75% shooter.

Someone needs to show Kelly film of his free throw from before and now.
