If you had to choose between the two, who would you want more on the Celtics? It certainly seems like Isaiah can't buy a bucket more frequently than Jackson, but I'll admit I don't watch a ton of Pistons games. It just seems that Jackson is more consistent in his scoring and doesn't have off nights like what we saw from IT as frequently. What do you think?
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

So this thread was made fresh off a loss and a bad for Isaiah? Really?

You might think that considering the timing, but I've actually been considering this for a while, dating back to when OKC traded Jackson. I've always liked his game, but wanted to get an opinion from the rest of the forum.

Is salary taken into account?

Reggie Jackson has off nights. It's his first season starting, so he's going to have hiccups now and then.

Jackson. Over the next three years I think Jackson will continue to improve, and cement himself as one of the game's best guards.

IT is still a great player on a great deal. Let's not run him out of town because he had a bad game.

I think they're pretty similar and close in value but I'd take Reggie because of his size.

It just shows how deep the PG position is these days. I'm tempted to say Reggie because of his prototypical size and superior strength, but I'd like to see what Thomas could do with a solid big who excels at the pick and roll. Thomas doesn't really have the luxury of a big like Drummond who sucks up attention around the paint and his FG% suffers for it.

Ugh, I didn't realize Thomas' 3pt. percentage had dropped to 33%.

The perfect place for Thomas is coming off the bench. He's a perfect pace changer. Because of his size his defense will never be stellar. He also forces his offense when it's obviously not his night, sometimes to the detriment of the team.

Reggie Jackson has an upside remaining, he has normal size, his D can and will improve, his point guard skill will get better, and his scoring will become more efficient.

Thomas does have a team friendly contract going for him.

Jackson has a ....more fragile ego about him.......little less of a team player.......not as coach friendly floor leader.

Thomas is the easy choice if it is based on their current contracts.

Reggie because of his size foremost but

Thomas is the easy choice if it is based on their current contracts.

This if that is being considered.

You certainly need more talent around both and Thomas leaves you more room for that.
