Holy Canoli. Isaiah is 2-17, incredible if we still win this game..
and that's including that uncontested layup.  it gets to a point where a player needs to stop shooting and just go to the hoop to draw fouls or set up his teammates.

TP. Sometimes guys just need to stop shooting.
Guys being afraid to shoot leads the offense into a bottomless pit. Keep taking good shots if they are there.

Never thought I'd say this but I think it's time to sit IT tonight and let Turner handle the ball.

Well alright, I take it back.

C's this season live and die by the jumper.  not an offensive scheme I care for.  when the shots aren't falling, they struggle against anyone

They've been this way for a long time. I don't care for it, either. It was mostly fine when we had Ray and Paul, but this team doesn't come close to that.
it's definitely a big difference living by the jumper when your options are Ray, PP and KG vs IT, AB and KO

Everytime we go small they kill us in the pick-and-roll.

But, but ... small ball!

Indeed. I do like Crowder and Amir in small ball though. That unit I can stand behind to give it a try.

For sure. Small ball hasn't really worked out all that well for us recently with KO or Sully as the big, because they can't defend the pick and roll for crap!

IT4 is our best player. Not much the Cs can do but hope he finds his shot.

it's not a matter of being afraid to shoot -- just take smarter shots.  get closer -- drive to the basket.  nothing wrong with getting close to take a 12-15 footer when longer shots aren't going.  sometimes it just takes hitting 2-3 easier shots to get going.  that's not the methodology that gets used here

Crowder has killed us this quarter. Stupid offensive play all around by him.

I'm a big fan of Sullinger, but I've been on record for a while now that he doesn't work on a small ball unit. He simply doesn't.

Olynyk plays too soft. Might do better to get to players but guards shoot over him easy.

If we want small ball, put Zeller or Amir in there.
