Smart goes to the bench. The other team scores three pointers on the next 3 consecutive possessions...

Yep.

I love Stevens, but he does ice players leaving them on the bench too long.  Kelly had some steam the latter part of the first.  Give him 3-4 minutes and bring him back.    I really think Kelly needs to get 32-35 minutes a game.  Got to see what he would do with real minutes.
To somewhat defend Stevens I think we have too many guys playing at the same level.  Some of the bigs especially need to distinguish themselves and deserve more pt

I would argue that Jerebko and Sully have not been playing at the same level as KO and Amir.

Good Lord, SUlly, did you really just try to Rondo fake?! LOL

He's an idiot. RJ was wide open for a three too. I m about done with him. He just doesn't want to get on the block and do the dirty work sometimes.

I agree but KO in particular seems to be someone who may benefit from moe court time.   I think you get what you get with Amir, Sully, Zeller, JJ.  Kelly is learning on the court (IMO) and I just think getting him real starters minutes may help him emerge.

The Pistons are putting together a solid quarter without Drummond.   Gotta close these last 2 minutes.

Plus, 3-4 minutes is too short a break, especially when we want all our players running full steam. He will get gassed.

35 minutes still means sitting 13 minutes a game. If he can play at full intensity for 35 minutes, great. If he has to reserve some energy to get that done, it won't fit our style.

Or a true pg. He gets stuck on the court with Turner too much.

Smart's passing out the PnR is vastly improved.  He's changing speeds and making great reads.

I agree as well.  I'd be fine with Lee and sully moved. Kelly just spreads floor bringing his man ou, passes great, has great offensive skill set rebounds well and plays good defense

Can we just trade Zeller, Lee,  Sully and Turner for one decent player?
