I like Turner.  He has a very old school game.  And I like that he is able to create; I think the team needs that.  And the 3 point shooting is bad, but he doesn't take very many- 1.4 per game when he's open.  The guys who drove me nuts were guys like Rasheed and Antoine who shot poorly yet went out of their way to jack up a million 3's.

I think the unfortunate thing with Turner his he often gets stuck on the court with our 8th through 11th bench players.  If you look at the team's net rating with him and 4 of the 5 starters (almost any combo), it's really good.

Like Tommy said, he´s loose like spaghetti when going to the rim. Spaghetti Turner.

What I don't understand is that he is shooting 15% from 3. like really lol.

Well he's 30% for his career, which is also bad but better than 15%!

Turner is something we need on this particular team. We only have one other player that can get his own shot off when he needs to. He's certainly not elite in doing what he does, and being a better 3 point threat would really help him. But yeah he can be fun to watch.

I agree with this.  Why he's fun to watch. He's a good player to have coming off the bench.  He's not a great player by any means but he's fun to watch and a good player imo in his role that he's playing right now.  Stevens basically has Turner in the perfect role for him right now.

I just question how long it will last with Isaiah being a better option there.  Isaiah can do the same things and shoot with range.  Turner is a better finisher above the rim with his size.  He can also shoot over players.  He is a nice compliment to isaiah that way. Isaiah more plays under the rim and in space.

The truth is Stevens has a lot of good options at guard right now.  If plaeyrs are giving Isaiah issues with size he can go with turner.   I dont see why he doesnt just go with Smart or Crowder though. I think Turner is expendable with the guys we have.  Crowder and Smart can do the same things and Isaiah.

Crowder, Smart, Isaiah and Bradley are all better players than Turner.  That's not to say Turner is a bad player.  They are just better than he is.  I would guess the +/- shows that too.  Although Turner is still in our top 7 or 8 players as far as a rotation.  Sully/KO and Amir probably map out about the same.

That's basically your 8 man rotation right there so saying he is expendable with the roster we have currently isn't really true.  Someone has to outplay him and the truth is he is a top  8 player on our team.

Even with Bradley back he is a top 8 player on this team.  He's in that mix after the top 4 or 5 guys and a top bench player.

We are going to improve our talent level but Turner still has a positive impact on the team and is a good player. He has a +2 plus/minus i think.  Right after Smart who is a +3.

I like Turner, but I wish Brad would tell him to stop taking threes.
