Okafor's dad was heckling coach Brett Brown at one game. Kendall Marshall's dad wondered on his private twitter account why Stauskus was still getting minutes and implied it was for racial reasons.
I think this is what happens when an organization has lost total trust with its fanbase and its players. Making decisions that seem to be more about losing as opposed to merit and trying to win makes people feel they have the license to question what usually wouldn't be questioned.
I honestly have no idea why they continue to play Stauskus. He's shooting horribly and he can't guard anybody, so what is he bringing to the table? How long of a leash are you going to give someone just because they were drafted high?
The cynical theory would be that they're purposefully trying to lose games and Stauskus helps with that. It's also why I think Okafor was originally starting over Noel, to boost Okafor's numbers as trade bait.
Are these theories actually true? We don't know, but this perception exists out there and it's why players parents now feel so free to be critical. You can't ignore the PR part of the "process" and expect it to succeed.
