I saw DA in attendance (during broadcast) for the Syracuse/UConn game in Maui earlier this season in addition to the Ohio St/UConn game in early December, which was particularly interesting because the game was played in the morning following the Double OT loss to Golden State.

I did some minor digging online and it appears DA attended a handful of games last year as well. Obviously it's easy for DA considering the relative location to Boston (Storrs, CT for example). Still, I'd be less surprised to see him at MSG for UConn's games there and more surprised to see him take the near 3 hour trip to watch a game in person within Gampel Pavilion.

The only player that appears anywhere near plausible draft-wise is their 7'0 Amida Brimah, currently out with a wrist injury I believe. Brimah is a junior this year and was instrumental in the team's NCAA Championship as a freshman. I honestly don't think he's ready to be drafted after only appearing to have grown slightly bigger over the last three years but what do you think?

Legit 7'0, quick, blocks shots...is he a late first rounder, early second rounder? Would you want him on the Celtics in a Ezeli type role one day (that appears to be his ceiling right now in the pros one day if you ask me, not to discredit Ezeli one bit).

*Note: Started a threat after a quick search dug up relatively no talk thus far on Brimah, thought it be interesting to discuss given DA's recent attendance. I've also heard he was in attendance for the Duke/BC game too, likely to see Ingram in person.
Long-form is far from dead, but please refrain from paragraph-laden posts! Who wants to read that?!

I personally wouldnt read to much into DA being focused on Brimah or Uconn. We dont know DA's schedule he may very well find himself in a given city/area and makes a point to catch what ever games he can. As for the Maui invitation, if I was a GM I would make a point of going every year Hawai in Nov instead of being in Mass. Also there are alot of solid team in the initational featuring many prospects.

As for Brimah, he is worth a shot in the early second. He is very raw still but his defensive potential warrants a pick.

Yeah, I wouldn't read too much into Ainge visiting certain games. We have a buttload of picks next draft... he'll be looking at just about everyone out there.

Daniel Hamilton.

I hope not. Admittedly I haven't been high on Hamilton since he came to UConn, unfortunately due to my own bias. I had a buddy of mine declare him NBA ready after barely playing a game since Jordan Hamilton was a glorified journeyman in no time, as if lineage has anything to do with it. After that he missed a boat-load of FTs against Temple at the XL Center as a freshman that cost us the game and since then I've really tried being fair on the kid.

He has impressive games, his 11-11-11 stat line was fun to watch develop, but he plays within the 3PT line too much I think. Similarly, I don't know what his position is...he can distribute like a PG when he tries, he's has the height of a competitive SG, but I've watched him defend like a SF. Ollie seems pretty instrumental in players' decision to stay/go, I just hope this kid doesn't become another DeAndre Daniels and leave too early.

He's got a nice handle for his size. Gets in the lane and can finish. Also has nice court vision. Has the potential to go late first or early second round. Could be a steal.

I watch several UConn games. Brima plays with no edge. Not physical enough on both ends of the court. Plays to small. I don't see his game translating to the NBA.
Hamilton has his moments. Kid who looks like a player is JAdams. Playing time is hard to find since Ollie brought in 2 5th year Seniors..
