Who's saying no to Marcus for Randle trade after watching Randle?

Me, easily. You have to play defense, too.
Dude is embarrassing our players.

I think they're embarrassing themselves.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

Randle looked better than Smart from that stretch there.
russell is clearly a better prospect than Smart.   Randle vs Smart is close.  Randle has been closing the gap this season.

Except he couldn't guard a wet napkin? And again, it's funny how context, sample size, etc. never matters in these comparisons. Actually, they only matter when they favor your opinions...
most of the people here who comment on randle don't actually watch him. Randle's defense might be better than Smart's offense.  The homer in me still gives Smart the nod but by the end of the season, Randle might be ahead.

I've watched quite a bit of Randle, and it's not even close. Randle is consistently a bad defender, where Smart at the very least shows offensive potential.

Far too easy there for Randle
Maybe put Sully on him. Everyone else, he's just too strong and quick. At least sully can take his strength away.

This is embarrassing. Oh and there's Smart. Where was he Brad?

Freaking mind-numbing. Brad needs a freaking limit of how many people he can play a night.

wait. KO and David Lee are having trouble containing a much stronger, more athletic, all-offense, player? Stop the presses.
My biases, in order of fervor:
Pro:
Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Kemba, Grant Williams, Sleepy Williams, Edwards!

Anti:
Kanter, Semi, Theis, Poierier

So did Kaminsky. Our big men defense other than Amir isn't spectacular.

When Brad turn into Doc Rivers with these substitutions? They have been beyond awful.

i think if you were to look at those two guys right now, randle's future as a 20/10 guy is clearer than Smart's future as a star PG.   Randle is already basically a double-double guy as a rookie averaging 12 and 9.5.    Smart has proven to be an elite defensive guard, but nothing more.   Critics still lean on randle having atrocious defense, but that's partially perception at this point.  His defense might be better than Smart's offense.  That said, randle's offensive game is still limited.  He's needs to keep working on his shot.
