If at the deadline,  the following the trades were made:

Lee, Jerebko, 2016 Mavs pick, 2016 Philly 2nd round pick for Gallinari (plus Foye for filler)

Amir, Sullinger, Turner, 2016 Celtics pick, 2018 Grizzlies pick for Gasol (plus JaMychal Green and Russ Smith for filler)

Is it possible to pull those two trades off without giving up Marcus Smart or any of the Nets picks?

Both guys have already signed new contracts so they would be locked in long term.

Lineup would look like:

Gasol  Zeller
Crowder  Olynyk
Gallinari
Bradley  Smart
Thomas

Thats a pretty strong top 8 players. Got James Young and the 3 rookies for depth. Would still have the Nets pick to hopefully land Ingram/Simmons/Brown

If those trades where made I would be really, really happy. That being said I doubt Memphis would agree to this. Denver might think about it but for Memphis this wont be enough, I think.

i havent seen much gasol but I have heard that he is declining pretty rapidly. If I am confident that he is going to be a top tier center for the next 3.5 years then I pull the trigger immediately.

That team is a 1 piece away team and all it takes is either one of our 5 rooks and second year guys  or a top 5 pick in the Brk 16 pick to become a star and we would have our final piece.

I would trade basically anything but the Nets pick for Marc Gasol.  My dream team for next year is:

Smart / IT
Bradley / Hunter
Crowder / James Young / Luwawu*
Ben Simmons / Sullinger
Marc Gasol / KO / Mickey

Basically, trade our pick next year + the ability to swap it with the Nets, Amir's waivable contract, Rozier, Memphis's own 1st round pick back (likely in 2018) and the Dallas pick for Marc Gasol.  That means we'd keep our pick this year, so I'd like Luwawu at where we're drafting.  That's a pretty solid team, although we're still not going to win a championship with it.  Gasol is 30 though, so we'd have to make another big move right away.  I wouldn't trade for Gasol after this off season, as he will be too old.

Gallinari would be nice, but only if we got him in February for peanuts.  I don't really want to give up much for him, but he'd be a great add at the same time.

TP.  I think Memphis waits until they know what's up with Conley before they do anything.  The Gallo deal is mehhhhh whatever.  Mixed bag on Gasol, he looks to be declining but it might just be a rough start.  It happens.  Pau looked done for a year and then bounced back to All Star form.  If I had to guess, Marc should age well considering his style of play and physical attributes.  Not sure why someone mentions add Gasol/Cousins and then Noel because that makes no sense at all.  Simmons and Gasol or Ingram and Gasol would put this team second in the east though next season.

I love the idea, but I think Gasol would be considerably more expensive than that. The Gallo does seem fair though.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I would be estatic for both those deals and the fact that we'd also get JaMychal Green.

No need to include Jerebko in DEN deal. Not giving MEM enough in Gasol deal.

I agree the Gasol trade might be not enough. It depends on how you view Sullinger (and hi sability to be re-signed by Memphis. Would you give up the Nets pick in 2018 instead of the Grizzlies pick in 2018?  Maybe the Grizz pick in 2018 will be a better pick, who knows.

IF you could make both those trades, why not just swap Lee for Amir and forget Gallanari?

I don't see the point in the Gallinari trade.  Not enough for Gasol, but I do like the idea of acquiring him.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Bigs - Shaquille O'Neal, Victor Wembanyama
Wings -  Lebron James
Guards - Luka Doncic

I think it's a bit much for Gallo and I think Memphis would want a 'prime' asset rather than the ones offered.

Because Gallo is averaging 17 and 6 this year with 19 PER. He shoots the three at 37%, his regular field goal numbers are down this year as he comes back from injury, but he would be a fantastic weapon in BS's system as a stretch four during small ball who can shoot alongside the hypothetical of Gasol and can still play adequate defense against other 4's with his big body.

Adding him over Amir would make the lineup much more lethal, especially with Gasol to cover up the defense.

Your not getting an elite type player without trading the Nets picks. Not going to happen.

I trade em all for Cousins. Cousins is a game changer.
