I really like his game but his reputation is as a 3 point shooter....he is under 30%

I view him more as a defender with great offensive potential.

In the same spirit as the predict nets win total.. i suggest a predict how long till rj has a twenty point game. I say before jan 25.

Would be surprised if he got one this year.  He doesn't get many minutes and the minutes he does get he plays very within the offense and hardly forces his shot.

tp. Actually spot on. He could be described as being passive offensively, if youre a typical cynic, but he really seems to be trying to adapt to the R and R offense, driving kicking, reacting accordingly to pins, ice etc.. i didn't like his d on morris in his 4q stretch, needs to get more muscle, obviously. Is matt barnes his ceiling? Or loul deng?

james young is an example of player who didn't get the feel of offence or defence
i believe that hunter makes people better, the ball doesn't stick he is not a liability when he puts the ball on the floor and he plays a disruptive help defence
-he takes his shots but seems a little rushed on some threes and has missed some bunnies inside by a hair, and his floater just rimmed out-
-the shots will fall but right now, he is learning defence
 he played zone in college
when play becomes 2nd nature and he can read and react almost automaticly it will take the pressure off his 3 pointer
-right now he has to adjust to speed, stength and skill level of nba-great job so far--

Yep, look at Danny's %'s as a rookie--and then as a sophomore starter.

James Young can really shoot, too--but not too many 20yos shoot really well in the NBA.

I think RJ needs to take more time when he has a wide open 3, I think his shot is somewhat rushed.

Guys he was scorer not a shooter in college for his dad.   That means he had a green light and got to shoot even when he was doing poorly.   I think the shot will come later on.  It will be an adjustment for him.

I like the kid.  Give him minutes and see what happens.

Shooting is the hardest skill to translate from the college game. I have faith that both him and Young will start to find the bottom of the net soon.

Korver shot around 30% his rookie season too.
