I know we have talked DMC and Melo to death on here in the past. But those are the 2 superstars that have the best chance of being traded soon. Their teams are doing enough at the moment o justify not blowing it up. But what would a 10 game losing streak (or something terrible for them like that) do to change things?

Dont want Melo, he is a money chasing loser
DMC on the other hand is much better
I am still waiting for Rondo to repay us by breaking down the Kings like he did to the Mavs

I'd rather have Fab Melo than Car Melo, that's how much I dislike him.

Both the Knicks and the Kings to me would be pretty hard to figure out in that hypothetical 10 game losing streak scenario.

The Knicks added a bunch of decent players to contend now with Carmelo, and then Porzingis comes along and with his window not coinciding with Carmelo's, brings more options to the table. They could go young, contend now or retool on the fly.

The Kings, with the Karl/Cousins dynamic are also hard to figure out. The core of that team (Cousins/Gay/Collison/Rondo) is fairly young and fairly talented. That hypothetical 10 game losing streak could send Karl on his way rather than Cousins, despite the support Karl gets in public from management.

I just don't want Melo unless there is another vet star to get with him.  He is the type of star to get if the team is ready to contend.  I don't think this Celtics team is ready yet.  To young.  To much room to grow.

I am ready to see the team add Cousins.

I'll add Jazz. So maybe Hayard and Favors can be traded for.

If having a choice of one of the two...

I can't believe I'm saying Cousins. If... the big IF he could get control of himself, he's young, and very talented. I think Demarcus wants to be paid well, but isn't concerned with being paid insane money. As opposed to Melo who is older, and kind of winding down, and money hungry to boot.
