Would you support moving the three point line deeper

 Can't move the side three's at all, but everywhere else would be easy enough.

 Would teams still shoot so many if you moved it back another foot or even two feet. Would percentages plummet to make any difference in the game style.

 Would teams actually play more in the post and midrange game.

 I like the three but it is becoming a little too much of a thing IMO. Would moving it help or hurt the game.

Nope, but i'd be willing to add a four point line around four or so feet back from the three-point line

Moving the 3 point line back would just make corner threes more of an emphasis.  I'd much rather see above the break 3s than a ton of corner 3s

No. I'm fine with the short corner as is, but I wouldn't want it to be that much shorter than straightaway.

The easy fix to the perimeter game we have now is to make the hand-checking rules looser again. It would also emphasize teams that can move the ball and get it to the guy shooting an open 3 as opposed to off-the-dribble shooters like Steph Curry who no one can defend with the rules we currently have.

I agree with this completely. I don't think most people realize the impact that these subtle rule changes have had to the game the past few years. Modifying how hand checking and post play fouls are called has basically taken away the emphasis from low post play and big men and has placed it fully on smaller, faster, perimeter oriented players.

No I wouldn't move it, I would however push out the circle under the rim out 2' and make the court wider and longer.

But yeah, the reasons above here are the real culprit. And in my opinion it's been to the detriment to the game. Nothing is more enjoyable then watching good post play. Not a big fan of all these little guard running around like it's the playground.

Nah, I like it the way it is. If anything I would widen the court a little but keep the lines the same.

I'm for moving it to FIBA which is closer for the sake of making our players more adapt to the line. Don't want it costing USA in international play. I would like to add a 5 pointer at 27' out. We shouldnt punishing great shooting we should reward it. Also makes come backs much easier for every game to be up for grabs like it is in football.

What is lost here is that 3-point shot spreads the floor, allowing for there to be more post game. The lack of post game is not due to the existence of the 3-point shot, but rather a lack of good low post players or maybe poor playmaking, coaching.

You remove the 3-point shot, what you'll find is more defenses packing up the middle making it more difficult to have a post-up game.

What the 3-point shot did though is slowly kill of the importance of the mid-range game.

heck no! instead, move it IN about 15 feet. now that would produce some fun, high scoring games.
centers are left out of the 3 point fun in today's nba. this will change will solve that problem.

and to save money, keep the old 3 point line and make it a 7 point shot!!

I'd love to see the court widened.  This would move the corner threes back and open up the court so that post play would be a bit easier.
