Back to the original, not only does he not have the skills to play the PG, more importantly this is not what we drafted him for.

Ideally, he will develop into an elite three point shooter, why try to turn him into something he is not and risk destroying his potential?

You may be right. On the other hand, if he wants to be a regular part of a (any) team's offense he's going to have to be able to dribble through traffic and/or drive to the hoop on a regular basis.

From what I've seen he dribbles the ball too high and he's easy pickin's for a steal. Perhaps, he should watch film on how Jeremy Lin and Steve Blake manage the ball. Neither one is an exceptional dribbler, but they've both managed to carve out successful careers without over-whelming talent or physiques.
