Trade thomas and sully for parker and a pick (if the bucks think that they will get a better pg than thomas...)
Use bucks mavs and wolves picks with rozier for noel
Trade away crowder zeller jj lee amir
Pick simmons or ingramm with the nets first
Pick stone or jones with the celtics first
Free agency targets: jennings and barnes
Smart bradley simmons parker and noel
Hunter young olynyc stone back ups

Jennings a Free Agent Target? HUh?
Bucks are not giving up Parker for that.
Anybody can post but wow what are you thinking?

Would be SHOCKED if that deal got Parker alone.

The Noel is eh. Philly doesn't want a buncha decent picks

It's not likely that we are able to pick Simmons or Ingram

"Trade away" Jae Crowder??? Why

Because he can't shoot like a go-to scorer....he's no PP

We would have a better shot if our record was bad and we were not fighting to make the playoffs. Some young players I would like to get:Myles Turner, Bruno Caboclo(not a sure thing at all), Jabari, zack lavine(doubt they want to trade, and id only do it if smart was never going to play point and just be a shooting guard. I also would not mind John Henson bc he's not being played and won't next to Monroe.

Anyway I see you listed Simmons and Ingram....did you not give me a hard time for liking Ingram and putting "draft Brandon Ingram" at the end of all my posts last year? I'm sincerely asking, not being sarcastic.

In defense of the idea of trading everyone's favorite Celtic at the moment. Bae's trade value is pretty darn high at the moment.. could be a significant piece in a deal for Melo (not that I like Melo at all).

why?

Good question.
because diehard tankers never die.  they don't even fade away.  for some, the lure of the lottery and constant rebuilding is more fun than actually competing

I'm wondering if this site should be providing a link to the Gamblers Anonymous site for those insisting that the lottery is the only 'game' worth playing   ;)

I do not  understand all these guys who love to be mediocore...i just evaluate our roster...thomas is a great pg... but not the best.. i would rather keep bradley and smart... we just need much much better players... trade for them draft them or sign them in free agency.. ok i do not want to tank and have a shot for simmons or ingramm... can we get a good free agent???? History has shown we cannot... my opinion that with this roste we can reach only at top 10... the only way is draft

We're 29 games into a season of not tanking.  Here is my 6 step process for all the hopeful tankers out there:

1. Sit back and relax.
2. Enjoy watching good team basketball.
3. Be cautiously optimistic for an upgrade in talent via trade.
4. If 3 comes true, see 5.  If 3 does not come true, see 6.
5. Congrats, the team has improved!  See 1 and 2 for rest of season and then jump to 6.
6. Re-evaluate at/after draft

Deal?

a more-accurate review of team history is that we didn't have the cap space when the big name FAs decided to change teams.  Name an actual example of a top FA that the C's had money to go after, the C's chased after and were rejected.

You mean, we sucked for over 20 years and never even tried to clear enough cap space to be in a position to sign a big name FA when he became available? Even though we knew years in advance when his contract would run out?  ::)
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

apparently not, although, if you have someone in mind that we should have been chasing in free agency during those 20 years, I'm all ears.  I don't seem to recall any big name free agents that changed teams in the 80's, 90's or early 00's.  Certainly some big trades and top players forcing trades later on during that stretch but no top unrestricted FA's come to mind that switched teams.
