This or something very close to it. For a while I was thinking Sully was going to be higher but I was wrong. IT is our most consistent player at doing what he does for the team.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
This thread hurts to look at.  A 5'9 guard is probably the C's best player and Jae Crowder is possibly top 3.  This team overachieves.

Yup.

When I see people ranking Evan Turner near or at the top ... I'm just like ... we are watching a different sport.

It's the sad truth - Turner is one of our only creators and one of our best playmakers. He plays within Stevens' system quite well, is willing to go in for a contested rebound and seems to be a better defender this year (see GS game). Turner isn't my favorite player, but I certainly want him in the game when it matters. I think Smart (and others) have considerably more potential, but think he is top 5 on the Celtics, right now.

Those gaps are overstating things. It's a very gradual drop in talent between each player. If this were 2k I'd say they would be 2 to 3 ratings points of each other. Bradley isn't far off from IT the only real drop is with the rookies.

This is how I see it.  Turner is our only natural playmaker, and probably our best all around player.  And yes he does stink up the joint sometimes, but so do they all.
