David Lee + 1st Rnd for Noah
Jared Sullinger + 2nd Rnd Pick for T. Jones

New Starting 5:
IT
Bradley
Crowder
T. Jones
Noah

Noah fills our desperate need for rim protection and he also fits well on Brad's offense as an elite passing big man. T. Jones also brings a little bit of rim protection @ the 4 and more importantly can switch effectively on pick n rolls and can defend bigger forwards like Lebron, Draymond Green, Paul Millsap etc without being blown by consistently(Sully, KO, David Lee) and overpowered(Crowder, Jerebko) at the same time. T. Jones is also capable of stretching the floor (0.7/game@40% this season) which is a boon on our offense.

 Not a horrible Idea.

I don't agree at all.  I think Noah is a FA after this year so why give away a #1 for 50 games of him?  The answer is you don't.  Noah isn't the same player as he has been.  Age is catching up to him.

I'd consider the Noah proposal, but the only 1st round pick I'd be willing to give up is the Min 1st that likely becomes two 2nd rounders.

Noah would improve our front court defense this year. Getting him now makes it easier to convince him to sign here next year.

I wouldn't do Sully trade because I like him more than T. Jones. Jones is looking to get paid this offseason as well so if I had to pay one of them I'd rather it be Sully

Want to boost front court trade Lee, JJ, Sully, KO and the Brooklyn 2016 1st for Hayward and Favors.

IT/Smart/Rozier
AB/Turner/Hunter
Hayward/Crowder
AJ/Mickey
Favors/Zeller

DA said he wants scoring Hayward and Favors fits that. Jazz can go full tank mode for Simmons.

The Bulls want to create time for Portis, I don't see them wanting to get a big back in any Noah deal. I could see them doing that deal if they are getting a first back and then just cut Lee, though. I'd be happy if the C's got Noah and I think we would stand a good chance to keep him next year. I'd prefer to trade multiple seconds instead of a first.

Not sure why we would give up a pick in a Sully for Jones pick. Sullinger has much better numbers, and is probably a better player. I think Jones might be a better fit for this team because he is more of a perimeter player who can switch on multiple positions defensively.

I think we need a back up wing, so if we traded two bigs without getting back a wing I'm not sure I would be happy with the deal.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I have no interest in the second trade but why would Chicago take the useless, slightly more expensive, expiring Lee contract in exchange for the expiring, but useful, Noah contract unless they are getting something of value in return? The Minnesota 1st round pick will never materialize. It has to be either the Dallas pick or our own.

David Lee + 1st Rnd for Noah

Which first? Lee + MAVS 2016 is as far as I'd go. I'm not sure I want to give up our pick and definitely not the  BKN picks for a guy who has had knee and foot problems and is expiring too. Add in that Thibs ran him in to the ground from 2012-2014 and I'm not giving away much.

Since both Lee and Noah are unrestricted next season I'm not sure it makes sense unless they know they won't be keeping Noah. Chicago has some cap problems so I can kind of see them looking for a dump somewhere but that isn't what is proposed above. Something like:

   http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=j8vqjvv

might be more amenable to the Bulls. Probably a 1st to Chicago and 2nds to Philly.

For the record I like Noah a lot and thing he'd be a fine addition to our team. He's a great passer and a very smart player.

Lee straight up for Noah I'd go for.  I'm not throwing in a first with Noah in his current health situation.

wouldn't make that Sully deal whatsoever.  Sully  >>> Jones.  not even close.  why move our best big for a SF that's just another bench-caliber player?

And why would Chicago agree with this deal?

As much as I like Sully, T .Jones is much a better fit and has a higher ceiling.
