Nothing different than the names already popping up but I'll give it a go.
Trade one: Lee, Zeller, Philly Second and future second for Howard.
Yes I'm buying into it. I hate Dwight Howard. He's a whiny baby that can't keep his mouth shut, has had injury problems in the past, and isn't always giving his 100%.
But...Whatever. I already dislike Sully and Bradley, why not add Howard too. He is still a legit talent when he is playing and giving his all even if that is 5% of the time. He doesn't have to be "the man" in Boston but he will be "the superstar". The face of the franchise for the public if you will. And that's what he wants. The teams play will still be run under Brad's system but Howard will be the focal point for the public and the media and I'm ok with that. Basketball wise he gives us what we need. A legit defensive center with athleticism, despite it dwindling, and experience. Plus he's a rental. He doesn't work out, ok, we were going to a near 500 team anyway, take the chance if it works great. If not let him walk. Losing Zeller and a second (that'll basically be a late first rounder) and a future second won't hurt with all the picks we've already piled.
Trade 2: Turner, Hunter, Jerebko, Dallas first for Gallo.
Gallo would be a legit threat for us and fit in fantasticlly with Brad's system. The Nuggets are terrible, Gallos expiring, they get a first and a young prospect in Hunter. Gives us a go to scorer that can play the three/four depending on the lineup and can play adequate defense.
Turns our team into:
Thomas/Smart/Rozier
Bradley/Young
Gallo/Crowder
KO/Sully/Mickey
Howard/Johnson
Like Howard or not that team is second in the East. Scoring, floor spacing, defense, rebounding, depth, a fantastic second unit...
I don't know. Just my two cents.
