In what world is it a good idea to palm a ball right before shooting a free throw? I've never understood Sully's free throw routine.
I don't understand how he's become so bad at the line. It defies logic.
Most disappointing development from Sully so far this season certainly, even more so than his current slump shooting the ball (though last couple of games stroke is looking a bit better, so hopefully he breaks away from it soon
I was just about to comment on the odd Sully palming of the ball. I agree its a bad FT routine. Time to change it.
He has the yips that's all.
It still doesn't make sense to me to palm the ball before shooting a free throw. It seems like that would throw your feel of the ball off.
Doesn't make sense to dribble or spin the ball either, and many do so...
He re-adjusts before shooting, just like everyone. Routines are about focusing the mind, nothing more.
