Isaiah-first Celtic since Larry

So this blew me away.

Isaiah is the first Celtic since Larry to have 500 points and 150 assists in fewer than first 25 games.

Larry 1989-90
Larry 1981-83

And...Isaiah 2015-16!

That's an awesome stat...I would have guessed Pierce or Antoine might have done it but no...its IT4.

Isaiah, surely has played beyond expectation.

On the other hand I'm not sure individual stats are as important as they used to be. Today many coaches substitute far more frequently than in the 80's. Thus, limiting a player's minutes and it seems coaches are implementing strategies that sacrifice individual point production in hopes of finding a winning team formula.

It would be interesting to see how many shots each one took to reach 500 points.
I'm guess Bird needed less, but I could be wrong.
