BOS - out:Lee, Rozier, Olynyk, 2016 BKN 1st, 2016 DAL 1st
            in: Noel, Gallinari

DEN - out: Gallinari, Jokic, Harris
           in: Lee, 2016 BKN 1st

PHI: - out: Noel
       -    in: Rozier, Olynyk, Jokic, Harris, 2016 DAL 1st

Basically, we get our center and SF. Denver will have two very good lottery picks and retain its prospects thus allowing it to complete a rebuild this year. Philly cashes in on Noel and gains a pick, PF who can play with Okafor or Embiid, and a bunch of cost controlled guards.

I am so glad you are not Danny Ainge.

All that stash for Noel? Noel cannot even keep Okafor on the bench in Philly.

Wait, Danny? Is that you floating trade ideas before you pull the trigger?

I think this is a pretty reasonable offer and a hell of a lot better proposal than all of the "Can we get Paul George for RJ Hunter" type stuff a lot of users post.

But I'm not so keen on Gallinari, as good as he is, and I think I'd roll the dice with that Brooklyn pick in the draft.

I just don't think we need a trade. We are so close....we should play this season out. See what the Brooklyn pick brings. We have a number of expirings that puts us in the F/A market. Why the rush to make a trade unless we want to go all in this year?

Because if they just stand pat, they'll be looking at multiple draft picks and possible FA's being added to a team that already has too many players. They're not going to have the roster spaces for everyone.

Consolidating some of the logjam now, midseason, when bubble teams are more desperate and there are less options to get better, makes a lot of sense for the Celtics. Especially when you consider that they can make a 3-1 that upgrades the talent somewhere and still be a very deep team. They've been deep with Marcus and RJ sitting on the bench in suits

That said, I don't want to trade this Brooklyn pick.

Denver getting way too much in that trade.

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah

According to the ESPN trade machine, Gallinari can't be traded until February 1.  I'd love to get Noel.  I would probably do the trade if the Nets pick was top 3 or at least top 1 protected.

I don't think the Sixers would make that trade.  They'd have to free up 3 rosters spots immediately.  The Sixers will probably already end up with 3 or 4 1st rounders in the next draft so an additional (probably mid) 1st isn't going to be that desirable.  Jokic would just add to their congestion at center.

I love your trade targets but we can't give up that much to acquire them.

The Nets pick should not be on the table unless we are bringing back a star. I don't consider either of those guys stars.

I'd also like to keep Olynyk. Pairing him with Noel would give the C's their front court of the future.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Agreed.  This is great if you live in the Rockies.

I'd rather have Amir Johnson at the 5 than Noel.  He plays very smartly, blocks some shots, better decision maker.  I don't understand this fascination with Noel.
