both teams are 14-10 so much for Rivers not wanting to coach a rebuilding team. More like he did not want to be exposed by coaching a team without a superstar.
Heck he needed three first ballot hall of famers to win one championship.

We would be so worse off with him, I wonder when Clippers will cut bait.

The problem is Doc's unholy love for DeAndre Jordan.  I don't know if it's because Doc never got over the trade of Perk but he came in convinced that Jordan was part of a Clippers Big 3 but he's just not good enough for that status.

I'm not a Josh Smith fan but why he brought him in and isn't playing him a lot at the 5 in small ball lineups with Griffin is beyond me.

Stevens. The Clips have too much drama going in and even a guy like Paul Pierce can only do so much as far as veteran leadership goes. I'm happy Brad is our coach. Keeps everyone in check and makes the most out of what little he has. When he gets the talent that the Celtics deserve, I see more potential for a dynasty than I do with Rivers' C's

yeah, unlike those other teams who did it without such stars....san antonio, miami, golden state...

I thought Doc did a great job here, though I think his strengths lie more with massaging egos than actual in game decision making.  I'm really not impressed with how Doc is managing this Clippers team though. He's made some bad decisions from a managerial standpoint and the roster itself doesn't mesh. They are really underperforming. Still Doc has the pieces to win a title before Stevens. Get a superstar on this roster though I'd probably take Stevens at this point.

who were the stars on GSW? Some coaches make the stars, others either have them shipped over or when they cant they run to those stars. That is the difference between Rivers and real coaches.

Who are the SURE first ballot hall of famers on GSW before this season.

Stevens. At some point Doc gets tired, and takes his millions and goes to Florida and does a little tv work and runs a camp for rich kids and does some consulting.

Doc manages Superstars. Brad is a phenomenal and transcendent coach. As for who wins the ring first, its got to be brad eventually. As we get some sort of superstar, whether it be through draft or trade, we will become instant contenders considering how good we currently are without one. Even with the star loaded Clippers, I don't see them getting past neither the Spurs or GSW.

The ungratefulness grosses me out.  Doc Rivers brought us something we hadn't had in over twenty years.  He did wonders with this squad.

As far as I'm concerned, he's a Celtics legend.

I actually don't believe just anyone could have accomplished what Doc accomplished with that '08 team.  If you recall, there were a lot of doubts about that team being able to come together and win when they were first put together.

Doc came up with a system, he managed some big egos, got them all to buy in, and become a championship team.  For that, I'll always hold him in esteem.

Stevens .


Doc is struggling with THREE superstars to even get close.   

Doc ...no more rings , unless he is an assistant .

CP3 never get a ring .......he is u willing to leave his beloved Hollywood life ...maybe a ring as a coach of the Lakers one day.

Blake .....has the most talent , common sense .....he may leave for a TRUE contender and win a ring or,two.


The window is starting to close on CP3 .

I don't think the Clippers are going to win it this season and Stevens will win one next year when Marcus Smart is DPOY and Ben Simmons is the youngest Finals MVP in history for the Celtics. So the answer is Stevens.

The only problem I recall is that everyone thought Cs spent so much to get the big three together that they did not have the complimentary players to add to that core. But no Rondo developed and the bench came together very well. The big three did a good job recruiting Thomas out of retirement, the Lakers lost Bynum and that is all she wrote.
