Would the Wizards trade Beal?

But he's also 22 and could end up an elite offensive player. Just curious. I'd assume no, but they're not the smartest organization.

Washington need to have Bradley Beal or some other sidekick star talent alongside John Wall to have a shot at convincing Durant to return home to Washington in the summer.

Would have to get quite the haul coming back.  His trade value has to be in the top 30.  The only way I could see him being traded is in a move for Cousins.  But that's just off the top of my head.  Put it this way, we don't have a single guy who can even sniff Beal in a deal straight up.

The Wizards and Beal mutually didn't want to extend.  His cap hold next summe is $11.25 million (give or stake a couple hundred thousand).  Washington wants to preserve as much room as possible, for obvious reasons.  A max contract starts around $20 million.  So there's a huge gap between what the Wizards could offer this fall without costing cap room, and what Beal might get next summer.  There was no expectation of a deal on either side.

On their RealGM forum they've got a thread about him and the majority of regulars there are saying they want to get rid of him given his lack of improvement and injury problems.

He's got serious issues with his fibula/leg.

I think he could be a superstar and that wizards fans are impatient, and I definitely think they could trade him.
It would be a small chance though. Maybe 30-40%?

No thanks, I'll stick with RJ Hunter or Young given the fact Beal would cost us the Nets pick at least.
